Last Timberwolves game i went to was with my dad. Growing up we went to countless wolves games. My dad didnt give a crap about basketball, but knew I did, so we went together. My dad passed away in 2020. Can't help but assume, if there is an afterlife somehow tied to this world, he would be as hyped as me. Lets go wolves!
I lost my old man to Cancer to in 2021 and one of our last memories weeks before it was going to the see the Vikings beat Seattle at the Bank. We won every game we went to together and I don't wanna break the streak going without him. Much love to you and your family man. WOLVES BACK

KAT wrecking all the narratives people have been saying about him for years. I've always been a fan of his, but can also acknowledge why people said he wasn't a winning player, that he shipwrecked some games because it was true. He still needs to improve on some of the bad fouls like #5 last night, but he has played great all season and postseason. He has played with maturity and has embraced his role on the team. He had to make the biggest sacrifice when we traded for Rudy, and I never heard any complaints from him. Took a bit to adjust to the new role, and missing most of last season made it take even longer, but he's there now and thriving.
Crazy this is only halfway to the goal, but man this just feels so GOOD. Thanks for everything this year on this pod, can’t wait for Wednesday and more.

Watching next day - maybe this was brought up already - but of course nuggets were exhausted! They aren’t used to that kind of defense, but the wolves are
I was thinking same thing you saw nuggets effort on defense start dwindling. Wolves used to keep pressing. Kind of like rope a doped the nuggets. You could tell Coach Malone knew his team was in trouble between 3rd/4th period interview. He knew his team didn’t have it.
let's goooooo!!!!!! Kat's always been able to do everything on the basketball court. It was always him being mentally tough on the court and playing smart. His personality doesn't fit with an alpha, so having ANT take the lead was the best thing that could've happened to him. Forget a top 10 offense when you have a historically great defense. For the TNT crew to want to sit Gobert, that's why they're not coaching on an NBA team 😂 Just leave coaching to real NBA coaches

I don't blame Jaden for the self alley-oop he went for. Nuggets surrendered and were going to let Ant run the shot clock out, except MPJ probably took offense to the waving and stepped up to force Ant to stop. That is what made him pass to Jaden and greenlit the score attempt. I think he wasn't sure what to do once he found himself free to the basket and seemed like Nuggets changed their mind about defending.

When Kat was injured, those discussions about … salary, basketball IQ, do we really need him to come in with lots of minutes when he returns etc…. They just ring different now.
I know you guys kinda addressed it but Ant played a miserable first half. A season ending performance that was gonna cloud all his great accomplishments.

I was mad at some “dumb” fouls and low IQ basketball plays, but he definitely deserves the accolades you guys are raining on him.

Can’t believe this just turns into a rip KAT session. Calling him a headcase. Attacking his character. Yes you are referring to past behavior, sort of, but very passive aggressive. When you go to someone and say “wow you look good. You’re not as ugly as you used to be. Man you were so ugly.” That’s not how you compliment someone.
I can't listen to that old dude yammering on and screwing up euphemisms. Time to retire pops.
