- I have about 2000 hours in mx bikes and I felt it was finally time to give you guys a general review of the game. I tried to keep this simple and to relevant points rather than jumping into every little detail. Let me know what you guys think of mx bikes and if you think this review was accurate. Thank you

Dude this game is special. By far the best moto game I've played. It's so satisfying to get better and put down a good lap. The sound mods and tracks amazing too.

I wouldn’t just recommend this game to people into moto but people into driving/racing games in general. My favorite part of racing games is running countless laps around a track and trying to improve my lap times. In bikes its so satisfying to learn a track in testing then hop into an online lobby and keep up with the same guys who were just absolutely waxing you a few weeks ago

Have to agree. The physics and handling are both one of the best parts when it works, and one of the worst when it goes to shits

Online races and so many things need a major overhaul.BUT it is the best mx game we have hands down
Yeah I think if net code/ online replay were improved the game would be light years better
Fairly new to MX bikes, but I can get around most tracks. SX tracks I'm lucky if I can triple anything in a rhythm but other than that, I love the game. It's an entire different experience in VR and I have to say, VR is the way for this game personally.
Supercross is an entirely different animal lol
Another good video, I agree with all of it. I do like that it’s a tough game to get good at. That’s what brings me back each time. Merry Christmas.

should definitely make a video on bike set up, and like top tips for beginners like when you landing to flats to land rear wheel first and just little things that will help people progress

I am at like 500 and I feel I was better at 300. I think it's a rollercoaster honestly. But also it's in my head telling me it's the 18 update that made me take a step backward but I don't know. I had some set ups I lost that I liked and now I am at square one. Frustrating but I am not giving up and yes when you nail a lap or section it feels awesome. It's been so long since I raced and rode and with all my head injuries, I honestly can't remember. Lol 🤣. Well CTE isn't that funny, it's scary but at least my computer is the one crashing physically now and not me. Haha. That was a stupid joke. Lol

I just got the game couple days ago been playing a little bit each day and getting really close to throwing down a lap of Forrest without wrecking, getting hyped about it haha.

This game look great and im gonna buy it if i havent burned my gaming rig down after 2-3 hours of playing.
i came from from mx vs atv and now im 40h in mx bikes and i swear its the best game, hard to learn but i do some pretty fast laps ! i like that i gain every few days some seconds on my fav tracks! and i start learning this whips and scrubs and going fast as fck trough corners! i play since first hour without the lean help etc ! its the best mx game !

one of those players who learnt with lean help turned on. made the game so ez to pick up and get up to speed but now i feel like ive peaked at how fast i can go. Plus it ruins the slow speed physics even more to the point where you can flop side to side without moving forward XD.
Currently new to the game and my biggest issue is definitely the slow physics especially the fact that the 250 four-stroke loops out way too easy like it has me questioning whether or not 250s are actually powerful I guess I don't know I've been on a 450 for so long in real life 250s don't seem like that much to me I'm going to keep with The game though it seems fun
I think sim is more consistent but thats not saying it has better physics

I think your second point kinda addresses the first point in a way. On paper, the vanilla game is pretty lacking in content. However, the fact that it takes 30-100 hours to start feeling comfortable (which I totally agree with), and you can take that time getting comfortable on the stock tracks and stock bikes, you can easily get 100 hours out of the base game just figuring out how to play.

fax the physics are the best but also the worst for example i gave the controller to a mate whos never played all he did was flip the bike on pull away or get piboso on pull away left and right piboso he hated it but i encouraged him and a day later he was able to do a lap and nows hes hooked after a propper intro into the game .to maby good games start out crappy and chase away players its kinda sad
What does connection time out mean? Every time I create a lobby with my friend, Connection Timeout comes. We both always have to create a lobby on our own and then come in with the other. And some public server dont work too.

I just bought the game 3 days ago and have 20-30 hours already. If your good at getting muscle memory down you can get this game down pretty quick and easy

The physics in mx bikes could so much better like I could be throwing a heater down then I hit a corner just a lil bit wrong and I’m sliding on the ground doing 360s but not crashing

Mx sim is not better in the physics. It's so floaty. Way too floaty. And it's basically stick figures riding the same reskinned bike
Thank you finally someone who agrees just because mx sim is harder they automatically think it’s better the racing looks 10x more realistic on bikes
Mx bikes is way closer to real life than sim coming from someone who plays both
You forgot to mention that this game (with all the DLC mods) takes up a gaggle of memory. You'll want (need) a SSD with, at least, 1 Tb of memory. Anything less and you'll load it up like Jerry Nadler loaded his shorts at a press conference.

I have a 256gb ssd and can still fit a couple games on there as well as bikes. I just don't have as many skins as most people(I just have team/racer's skins)
No, game has shit optimization and stability. I have a 3k computer and still crash

i played a cracked version of mx bikes untill i decided to buy it because 30 eur was alot. then after like 50 hours of playing on a cracked version i loved the game and decided to buy the game
Honestly 30 euros is def overpriced. I mean, half the content is community made. I believe ALOT of people have held back on buying this because of the skill curve combined with the price. That being said imma about to play the demo a bit and buy it if its as good as it seems.

idk if you will see this comment even after 5 months, but i recently picked MX Bikes, and, in my opinion the lack of content isn't a downside.
I will explain here why.
I'm a car guy, therefore my steam is filled with the best car games, and the best game/simulator is Assetto Corsa.
Assetto Corsa falls on the same thing, base game is not good, tracks are very limmited, and the cars, well not the best overall. but since the base game has really realistic Driving physics, that opens a big door for people to create tracks, cars, etc
That's a huge upside because you dont need to have tons of GB's on tracks you dont even play, or cars you dont like, you just download the ones you like. The same can be aplied to mx bikes, you can only download the tracks you feel like playing, and the bikes you will use.

I know it's a long time since you made this video. But I'm considering buying this game. But I have no experience with motocross in games or irl. Will this be a big problem? I would like to know before I buy it.

just to clarify some things it took me like 5 hours to set so heaters so don't be afraid it will railey take you more than 50 hours to set down your first lap

I have a 3rd con....seriously, how come MXB doesn't have offline Ai racing in the game by default. There are some who don't do multiplayer or some who do not have a constant internet connect. This is the main reason I won't buy the sim. I can just use the demo if I wanted. But, I will be uninstalling it because its boring just doing the Test track. I like simulations, but this isn't that great without offline ai in my opinion.

Hey man, just got the game last month, downloaded the bikes and tracks but whenever I use the oems the game crashes when I spawn in. I downloaded the tire patch but they don’t appear to be on my bike. I’d really appreciate your help.
