- The Cow Missing archives reveal that Universal Studios Hollywood had a 21-minute rendition of the "The Call To Adventure/Main Theme" soundtrack composed by William Kidd. This captivating musical piece was featured in the Fountain Courtyard section near the theme park entrance for ten years. Initially created for Universal Orlando Resort's Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida, this audio track found its way to the Hollywood location.

The first issue is with 20 tracks. The 2000 reissue Universal Studios Islands Of Adventure (The New Official Soundtrack Album) contains four extra tracks (Skipper Island Tours, Seuss Landing Quartet, The Flying Unicorn, The Force Of Storm). Still, it removes one track (The Funny Business).

This is the track that plays at Universal's Islands of Adventure in Orlando!! Just past the creaking bridge into the Port of Entry! THANK YOU! I have been looking for a source copy of this for years!!
It's so weird when I heard this at USH. It's the Port of Entry music from IOA and walking through an area next to Harry Potter in USH (which already looked like the Hogsmeade in IOA) made my brain hurt
Worth noting is that this piece is clearly a riff / reference / inspired by John Williams "Flight to Neverland" from Hook

Thanks so much for posting this gem! Reminds me of my last visit at IOA where i was sitting next to one of those green omnispeakers just to listen to the music in this area. BTW - do you by chance have the soundtrack of the second version of Poseidon´s Fury? The main theme played when guests enter or leave the main show room is fantastic (it´s by Gary Guttman i think)...

It could be. Universal has repurposed this several times. But for the longest time it was played at the main gate (Fountain Courtyard) all the way down “New York street” to which is now Starbucks.
