This was the last park my 19-year-old son got to go to, He passed away only 3 weeks later. I miss all the times we did go and listening to this is bittersweet. Mostly sweet.

I worked at Dr.Doom's Fear Fall from 2013-2015, every morning I'd walk through CityWalk and knew I was almost to work when I could hear this music. I don't think I'll ever forget all the memories that job gave to me, I even met my first girlfriend there. Thank you, Universal.

1:07 has always been my favorite. It feels like every time my family and I were on vacation and entered the Islands of Adventure, this song would play. It really added a whole new layer to the feeling of adventure for me, maybe because of the exotic sounding birds or just how calming the music is. It’s even better when you can feel the cool spring breeze on your face while you look through the gift shops just past the gate; it’s like walking through a marketplace in a different country, stocking up on wares for your new adventure.

It was the last perfect thing in my life before it turned upside down. This music brings so many memories back and I'm waiting for the day when I am able to afford the tickets myself and go:)

Makes me feel right at home. As a kid, my dad used to take me here every day, but once we moved to Miami, we only go like once a year. Miss this place so much, and will forever be my favorite place in the whole world. Most of my best memories stay in this park, and I hope for more to come.
Everytime I complain about Universal not giving the right rides to us, I listen to this song and it calms me down and reminds me that this is the best theme park

This takes me back to 1999 opening year. I went to this park first thing in the morning on every Saturday to ride Dueling Dragons first run. I got to watch the park get built from dirt to finish every day from my high school across the street- it was a special time.
I associate this background music with happy times with good friends and family. IOA is my favorite place on earth (and I've traveled extensively). I'm pleased Universal makes these background recordings available.
Almost 10 years ago, my husband worked the wheelchair/stroller rental area at Universal/Islands and he told me how much he loved hearing these toons day in and day out. I am so glad it is available here on yt.
13:00 is what always got stuck in my head after visiting there. And it's a nice thing to get stuck in your head. The first time I visited Islands of Adventure, they had just opened, and it was abundantly clear that Universal hadn't figured out how to move people through attractions efficiently like Disney does. Over the next few decades, it seemed they improved with each visit. I was disappointed that the dueling dragons no longer ran simultaneously last time I was there. That was the big draw, to me, seeing the other roller coaster about to crash into you head-on and turning away at the last instant. The Incredible Hulk remains my favorite coaster I've ever ridden anywhere.
I remember walking around the park entrance as a budding sound engineering teenager in 2005 and hearing the music playing on the 5:20 mark. The low end distribution of the audio was just...phenomenal and still gets to me today with how powerful of a scene that set. ❤ Thank you Universal Studios and the people working there for all the (fond) memories!
TDTechOfficial I feel ya man. The part with the chimes and the bird whistles is the part that always happens to be playing when my family and I get to the gates (probably because we get there for early entrance) and it’s just so calming, but also still gives me that anticipation of getting ready to have a fun day at the park. Miss those times. Let’s hope we can have them again as soon as possible ❤️

It's nice to see that so many others have the same feeling as me. If you close your eyes while listening to this, all the memories flood back. The moment where you first saw the mass number of people lining up to go into this theme park. The huge lighthouse towering over you. The nearly burning you it was so hot. I shed a tear listening to this song, and simply being impatient for the next time you get to visit this wonderful land once again.
Out of all the places I've been and all the songs / music I've heard, the entrance theme music to islands of adventure invokes some of the happiest memories in my life.
I can't stand that they replace this with Christmas music for over a month. Holiday music is already ALL over the rest of the park...can we please keep this?!?! 😭
I could just sit in IoA and listen to this music all day. There’s just something wonderful about walking through those gates and hearing the music playing. I love it. It really feels like home when you get there.
And just like that its Saturday morning, and I am walking into Islands of Adventure without my family, armed with a watch and a location of where to meet, and a phone number just in case I needed anything. I remember going in, hearing all of this, and feeling like I was finally able to be myself. I met some of my best friends at this theme park. I have had some of the most surreal and incredible moments of my life at this park. And then I was lucky enough to get a job there. Holy shit. You guys cannot imagine what it's like to be walking into Islands of Adventure through the employee entrance and hearing this music to start your day, knowing that you were about to help make some of those same memories you had as a kid. I will never forget Islands of Adventure.
Wishing it was early morning waiting till islands opens got the morning sun shining bright on you. You and anyone with you is planning what the first move is. I think my first move would have to be Spider-Man. It never lets me down. Once it gets real hot go ride Dudley. Man I just wish I was there and not surrounded by politics, arguments, and hate. I remember our first trip, I took my gf as a nice little getaway because she loves Harry Potter. We had no idea how important universal would become to us. we've never experienced such magic, I actually forgot I had a day job to go back to for the time we were there. This music was a great welcome to the parks for us and the trips that have followed. Can't wait to return post quarantine.
I went to a college close to Universal and my friends and went all the time and everytime I heard this at the entrance to IoA it's always so peaceful and always got me excited for the fun my friends and I were about to have. I miss this.

Eternaldarkness3166 I went back this past October 2019 and hadn't done any research on the park since I went in 2008. I was crushed when I found out they got rid of Dueling Dragons when I looked at the new map. But hagrids motorbike ride is absolutely amazing. I believe JAWS, Twister and a lot of classic others were already gone in 2008 too. A classics park would flood with tourists for sure.
NO that's a horrible idea the only ride I want back is Dueling Dragons and Kongfrantation besides those ones I want none of the others back. Ps I only want Kongfrantation back because skull island regin of Kong is garbage.
Man I alredy miss this place and Its only been 3 months sence I went here. Me and my family been waking up at 7 am getting at islands of adventure getting on the bus walking though citywalk and arriving at this lighthouse and waiting in switchbacks looking at the 3 parks equals 3 times the fun sign and looking at the covid restrictions before getting in and saying where is my cabana bay card for early park admission then rushing to hagrid then forbidden journey then taking the Hogwarts Express to universal studios Florida and getting butter berr and riding simpsons escape from gringots Hollywood rip ridde rockit and Revenge of the mummy and going back over to islands to get lunch at thunderfall tree terrace and getting the rib platter where I can see pterondon flyers then getting soaked on popeye and Dudley do right and riding hulk then before park close riding amazing adventures of spiderman then going back to my hotel cabana bay in the starlight tower and having a great nights sleep me and my sister were sad to leave I hope i come back here and Disney world in the coming months We had a great vacation

Wishing it was early morning waiting till islands opens got the morning sun shining bright on you. You and anyone with you is planning what the first move is. I think my first move would have to be Spider-Man. It never lets me down. Once it gets real hot go ride Dudley. Man I just wish I was there and not surrounded by politics, arguments, and hate. Islands of adventure to me is just pure happiness love and positivity.

This is genuinely my favourite place on earth and holds a special place in my heart. I love it so so much, it’s an indescribable feeling walking through those gates, with the sun in your face and the breeze through your hair. You would have to visit to understand that feeling. Whenever I hear this music it brings a warm sense of happiness that will always be in my heart . IOA really is my happy place and I am so thankful it exists.

I remember our first trip, I took my gf as a nice little getaway because she loves Harry Potter. We had no idea how important universal would become to us. we've never experienced such magic, I actually forgot I had a day job to go back to for the time we were there. This music was a great welcome to the parks for us and the trips that have followed. Can't wait to return post quarantine.

I went to a college close to Universal and my friends and went all the time and everytime I heard this at the entrance to IoA it's always so peaceful and always got me excited for the fun my friends and I were about to have. I miss this.
Man do I miss going there.. I honestly think Universal should open a classics theme park for all the old rides they took out, I think it would gain just as much popularity as the parks they have now.
Eternaldarkness3166 YESS! I was just saying the same thing to a friend. A "Classics" park with re-vamped versions of all the popular attractions they removed: Dueling Dragons, Jaws, Back to The Future, Beetlejuice, Earthquake, Twister; the list goes on and on!

Although, I don’t think Universal’s new park ‘Epic Universe’ has many rides, I think it’s just mostly restaurants, hotels, and a soccer stadium, that’s pretty much it
Eternaldarkness3166 I went back this past October 2019 and hadn't done any research on the park since I went in 2008. I was crushed when I found out they got rid of Dueling Dragons when I looked at the new map. But hagrids motorbike ride is absolutely amazing. I believe JAWS, Twister and a lot of classic others were already gone in 2008 too. A classics park would flood with tourists for sure.
NO that's a horrible idea the only ride I want back is Dueling Dragons and Kongfrantation besides those ones I want none of the others back. Ps I only want Kongfrantation back because skull island regin of Kong is garbage.
Man I alredy miss this place and Its only been 3 months sence I went here. Me and my family been waking up at 7 am getting at islands of adventure getting on the bus walking though citywalk and arriving at this lighthouse and waiting in switchbacks looking at the 3 parks equals 3 times the fun sign and looking at the covid restrictions before getting in and saying where is my cabana bay card for early park admission then rushing to hagrid then forbidden journey then taking the Hogwarts Express to universal studios Florida and getting butter berr and riding simpsons escape from gringots Hollywood rip ridde rockit and Revenge of the mummy and going back over to islands to get lunch at thunderfall tree terrace and getting the rib platter where I can see pterondon flyers then getting soaked on popeye and Dudley do right and riding hulk then before park close riding amazing adventures of spiderman then going back to my hotel cabana bay in the starlight tower and having a great nights sleep me and my sister were sad to leave I hope i come back here and Disney world in the coming months

The theme park that always shows up in the record books and the universal commercial I mean they always show island of adventure in the universal promos well that's awesome cause islands of adventure is my Favorite universal park lol
I just adore Universal, I try to go at least once a year, and yet after two months of every trip I am ready to go again! Thank you for posting this to TH-cam for me to be able to listen to! I love it so much it makes me cry sometimes!

Im from England so when I come here it’s amazing, the feelings this music gives me is amazing i can just picture heading through the ticket gates those huge fans blowing into my face then hearing that roar of the hulk as it zips past seeing all the lands before me so much to explore and to see and so... I normally go every year but I still cry every time on the last day

I love this music so much! when I first heard it in the queue line it made me tingle with anticipation and excitement, thank you for posting it, it also makes me feel a bit sad every time I hear it, as I am no longer at the park, hopefully one day I will be back (the parts with the bird song are for me the best).
