So THIS Is Nigeria? (#82)

  • Nigeria. It's the giant of Africa, population-wise at least. But that's not what it's known for around the world. Scams, crime, kidnappings - that's what Westerners think of when they think of Nigeria. But I knew there was more to this country than that. There was jollof rice, for example. It was time to start my journey in the megacity of Lagos, at the (in)famous Elegushi Beach.

The only challenges I can even foresee in the research is accounting for climate variability. The tools already exist.

Generally Africans are friendly people. And comparing to Uganda at the moment is kind of not appropriate. Ugandans have gone through horror the past few years, shortly before Tommy's visit police and army (note armies brought from as far as Rwanda, southern Sudan, CAR) brutality and dead bodies lying on the street. Corona was the right gift to the anti people govt, Nearly 2 years Corona lockdown, kids have not been to school in 2 years, people have not earned in 2yrs, yes you were struck hard and beaten walking out of your home, businesses lost, no support from anyone, a population out of hope left to vampires of corrupt brutal dictator regime who are driving the country to extremes.

Awesome! There is alot to be desired in Nigeria like the food, culture and friendly people. To fully appreciate the country, from my perspective, please get the help of a local guide who will help you navigate the country and make your stay pleasant.

The fact that you interact with locals, walked the beach and vlog alone and featured everyone without discrimination it’s real good and the fact that they reciprocate the love it’s heartwarming although I would have loved to watch you explore other parts
