is that more him leveraging his greater appeal, or does someone asking for more legitimately make people more interested in the offer? dont know much about business, but one possibility psychologically would be if multiple dragons come in at the same amount, bidding for more sets you apart? (without putting you in a position of giving too much away)

Touka has shown such humanity and greatness in this episode, I am really impressed.
The way he immedietely cut down in a few words to the core: 2 carpetenrs and with you selling what would your turnover be?
He has asked him the question and made him elaborate on the opportunity, helping him in such a great way to recognize it.
He really talked to him as a human and from experience and wanted to help. A shame that he didn't realize he can do it on his own.

This is an epic dragons den moment! Absolutely. Seeing the dragons excitedly playing in their suits, a pitch that was humble and honest, an amazing story and a deal in the end. I loved this!

Peter was a perfect choice, he deals with education and genuinely cares about people like him who have incredible stories. I think Peter only invests in the people, you may have a good idea, but I think you need to sell your heart in order to get Peter onboard.

Listening to this man when I am 1) a teacher 2) who works in a school for Additional Support Needs and 3) understands the importance of outdoor learning and 4) has had to leave a teaching role due to depression I feel like I'm totally getting him. Then I hear his utterly traumatic story with his daughter and suddenly an already wonderful idea becomes something that needs to be done. What a wonderful man, like they said: resilient, caring, intelligent but can I add humble? So glad he's done so well.

People who resent capitalism are the stupidest/most uninformed people out there. Without capitalism there would be no incentive for anything. It rewards hard work and intelligence, at the cost of course for some risks. We wouldnt have the phones we take for granted now without capitalism. Look at (shithole) countries/regimes that do not have capitalism like the communistic North Korea. Contrast that to the capitalistic South Korea with its extremely high welfare among the population. Well I know where I would want to live...

All of the biggest US corporations are massively exploitative.You can't become a capitalist without exploiting the labour of your employees, its inherent in the system. And furthermore, it does not insentiviise progress, because progress does not always = profit, in fact it rarely does.
