Space: The Imagination Station launch (incomplete, October 17, 1997)

Here is a partial look into the launch of the Canadian sci-fi channel Space in 1997. Unfortunately, our taper did not care to do the full countdown, and decides to go directly to the first program to air on the channel, the 1956 film "Forbidden Planet".

It officially launched exactly 25 years ago to this day (October 17, 1997) alongside CTV News 1, The Comedy Network, History Television, Teletoon and a few other channels
