Are inhalers addictive?

    I have been on Salbutamol for 40 years plus, and I truly believe it is addictive. Plus, anxiety and adrenal dysfunction has lead me to have secondary problems too.
    When I have to, I can live without Salbutamol. When I have access to it, I'm using it for comfort and it's causing me more anxiety

    i have been on constant inhalers for 3 years, taking 5 puffs a day. My body is completely addicted to it now and cant get relief without them

      But i don't think this is an addiction especially if they are helping your condition. i would suggest going to see your dr. again to see if there is anything else you could do

      I used to do the same.. I stopped and no longer have asthma. These doctors are prescribing poison.
