I just installed my new Wyze Battery Cam Pro yesterday to monitor my vegetable garden, and it is super great! I am also using the solar panel to power it. The video quality is very crisp and the night vision is amazing. My only gripe with this camera is that it takes a while to pull up the live feed. The wifi connection seems quite strong, even though my router is 65 feet away on a windowsill. I have the Cam Plus Unlimited plan for all of my Wyze cameras. So far, I’m really impressed!
I have a few v3's and 2 outdoor cams v1. In my opinion these cameras used to work good. When I first got these cameras i was really impressed. I only thoght that because I compared it to an old dvr system that had like less than 720p quality. I think its worth buying an actual 4k dvr that gives motions like Reolink and hikivision. Dont get my wrong these cameras are budget friendly for the most part but you get what you pay for. One of my v'3s, it just does record. I have the correct sd card in it and it doesnt work. Not sure why but im just going to spend the 2-700 on an actual system that I know wont let me down. Even my dvr with like a 9 year old hdd works like a dream and records every second.
The box on my new Wyze Battery Cam Pro says "Cam Plus Subscription required". I have yet to hook mine up but observation of the video and some comments intimate that those folks may not have that subscription. Thanks.
It can be viewed away from home. Just open the app, select the camera and you can see the events or even a love feed. In my case, I had the solar panel so I don't plan to take mine back down. That's why I mounted mine higher.
Are you able to connect to an existing system? I have 4 wireless camera's connected to a base station, since this one doesn't need to be connected to a base how would i add it? Thanks....
Try a few days battery life at most. Just being honest. Maybe the solar panel helps but without it if you have regular traffic and depending on set up its easily only a few days of battery. My solar panels should arive today and ill see gow they help, besides the battery life i love both of mine but i have extra batteries and they swap super easy is the one consolation prize i suppose.
Hello, I just got the Wyze battery cam pro. I saw your video and very nice info. I still no see how I can see the events that I not physically record always bring me to the contract suscripción. I put a sd card inside. Any suggestion?
I can say yes. I am currently at 82% on my camera with usage. So as long as the panel is getting some sun and not to much traffic, it should be getting a charge.
I just bought this camera and the solar panel and it’s plugged in and not working. Our ring spotlight camera has been hooked to a solar panel for 3 years and we never have to touch it. Im having problems getting in contact with any kind of support except pre collected problems and answers in chat form.
So far... No... It seems to show my SD card storage is filling up but I can't view anything from the app. I haven't tried to take the camera down and view the SD Card on a computer.
Wyze claims that it will take a few weeks to fix issues with the memory card functionality via a *firmware* update. I’m gonna hold off on buying this camera for a few months.
I just got my Wyze battery cam pro installed but can’t view video playback. Any idea? Am I doing something wrong? It’s asking me to subscribe anytime I try watching playback
It has no playback like the V3!! It doesn’t detect nothing unles you are a foot away, horrible!! My v3 detects all the yo the corner of my cul d sac!! This battery cam pro is going back!!

Is there any option to do timelapse using this camera?
Excellent step by step instructions, thank you for making this an easy install along with utilizing the sim card, well done!

Without cam plus subscription, its limited to 12 seconds of recording length so make sure you are willing to have that subscription
Question with sd card memory ... no need take plan payment,,???record everything too??
Nice camera!!!

1. Since it is a wifi device, you can't view it away from home?
2. How is mounting it high make it easy to swap out the battery?

The SD card function for recorded motion is coming soon in an update.

Can the alarm be turned off on this camera?
There's a cable management system on the back of the panel so you don't have them hanging, thanks for the video!
I must say, I didn't notice that. I think I'm going to fix that lol.
How's the notification speed ? Is it equal to the V3 ?
Yes, it seems to be pretty much instant.
@@BigCVlogs cool I'm in..... I don't care about sound ......
Nice! I just installed mine with the solar panel. Is your camera charging? I don’t seem to see any solar powering mine.

Does the solar panel charge it to 100%?
So did you ever get the sd card to start working??? Because if not this will be a deal breaker for me if i couldn't record to my sd card.

SD card recording not available at launch. Will be added through a software update.

@rlbk525 I'm with you on that I can't buy until I see that feature will work
Thank You So Much

The memory card is not functional at this time, Wyze said they had issues and that they will be releasing a firmware update to fix it soon.
