@@stylesbond8057 Hi! Do you get that message by your computer system or by Yellow Duck? I would try to delete Yellow Duck from your system, go tor their page and download the latest version. Then install again. Sometimes that works. Let me know if that fixes the problem.
Not gonna lie, the echo acoustic from your phones mic sounds kinda cool but having crystal clear sound will always be superior. Thanks for the video man!!
es, you can use the line inputs on your Focusrite Solo to stream your DJ set. The setup should be quite similar to what is described in the video with the Scarlett 2i2. Connect the outputs from your DJ mixer (like the record out, master out, or booth out) to the line inputs on the Focusrite Solo using the appropriate cables.
Awesome video. Thanks, Dorian. I'm sure you may have been asked this already, but what was the track you were playing when you were showing both examples of using a phone, and then through OBS.
Thank u for that video Dorien! My question is what driver software need for this interface not sure is running on M1 silicon chipset and possible to use any other interface what u could mention it ? Thank u! 🙏
Hey there! Thanks for the video. I've done this but when monitoring the stream on instagram using headphones, the audio is in mono. Do you know how to have the audio broadcast to your IG audience in stereo?
Instagram probably compresses the audio to mono since most streams are done on phone mics and played back on phone speakers so stereo would just bloat the bandwith usage. Doubt there's a fix.
Hey Dorian, thank you so much for a great tutorial🙌🏼 really clear and easy to understand. Can I please ask whether there will be the same process if I want to record just reels on instagram to get the good quality sound? Thank you for your help!

Hello, sorry for the late reply. It still works, however, you will need a different cable to connect your controller to the audio interface (RCA to TRS/XLR).
Great video. I’m using just my macbook with Ableton on it. So would this setup work & sound great on IG Live with just my interface, macbook & Ableton?
Dorian thx for replying. I’m actually having a DJ battle vs a friend on IG Live. I have a MacBook Pro, m-audio interface, & using Ableton. Will I be able to play music clearly and talk using this setup (minus the mixer board) in your video?
@@H.Chambers This setup should work, you'll just need to make sure that everything you want the audience to hear is going into OBS (by adding it in the sources section: + Icon > Audio Input Capture).
Dorian hey Dorian. Have another questions. So i downloaded the soundflower app. Went into audio output capture, set that to soundflower. Also went into preference & set soundflower in Live. But still no audio coming in OBS audio output capture. Only coming through by the mic/aux in OBS. Any idea why?
Hi there !!! Thanks for your video, but see how to use a DDJ400 here that only has RCA white and red cable outputs, really SIMPLE, can I use the interface on it? Speaking of interface, I can buy another one as long as it comes with what exactly?
Hi there! Thanks for your comment. Absolutely, you can use your DDJ400 with an audio interface for your live streams. Since audio interfaces commonly feature TRS and XLR inputs, you'll need a cable that adapts from RCA (the outputs on your DDJ400) to either TRS or XLR to make the connection. This setup will ensure that you can transmit high-quality audio directly from your controller to the streaming platform.
thank you! Will have a look at it and let you know. There shouldn’t be a big difference, you’ll just have to use a different app as the iOS camera app is not available (yet) in the Play Store. Everything else in the process stays the same.

Hi Dorian! Great video - only problem I'm finding is that you can't save the stream directly onto your feed afterwards, when done this way - any ideas how to solve that?
Thanks for the insightful video! I had a question concerning using the effects in fruity loops while djing on Live. Any recommendations on how to work this?
Hi buddy. I have a MacBook and condenser mic that connect to my Scarlett 2i2 and I wanna be able to play instrumentals from my MacBook for IG Live. To do this, I’m guessing I need rca cables from the Scarlett to an adapter which then connects to my iPhone, and a way to get the audio to send a signal from my MacBook to the Scarlett? Or is there another way to go about doing this? I really just wanna be able to sing to instrumentals with good audio when I livestream
Hi Ron - so you would need two audio sources; one from the MacBook playing the instrumental, and one from the microphone for vocals, correct? Actually not sure how to do that, you would need to add an additional audio input source in OBS and be able to select the computer audio. Now you might be able to do that with a virtual sound card. If I find time in the next couple of days, I will test it. Otherwise, you can try to google "capture computer audio in OBS"
If you're using a Focusrite Solo for your DJ livestream setup and your mixer has RCA outputs, you will need an RCA to TRS cable. This cable will connect the RCA outputs from your DJ mixer to the TRS line input on the Solo.
To connect more than one camera for a DJ livestream setup using OBS, follow these steps: Connect Each Camera: If you're using USB cameras (including webcams or DSLRs with USB output), plug each camera into a separate USB port on your computer. For professional cameras with HDMI output, you'll need an HDMI capture card for each camera. Add Cameras in OBS: Open OBS and create a new scene for your livestream. For each camera, add a new source by clicking the "+" button under the 'Sources' panel. Select "Video Capture Device" and set up each camera feed as a new source. You can name each source according to the camera position or angle. Arrange and Preview: Arrange the camera feeds in OBS to your liking. You can position them side-by-side, picture-in-picture, or switch between them during the live broadcast. Use the preview function to adjust the scenes and sources until you are satisfied with the layout. Audio Settings: Ensure your audio is configured to only capture from your DJ setup and not from the cameras, unless intentional. You can mute individual sources in the 'Mixer' panel within OBS.
Hi, I need help with my setup please!! I'm using the traktor controller S4 which uses traktor on my laptop to be able to mix, I usually send the audio directly from the controller to my audio monitors with SRT when practicing but now that I want to try live streaming I got an audio interface (behringer UMC404 HD) with xlr inputs so I'm sending the audio from the controller to the audio interface and from there to my laptop with the USB cable but when I add the audio input in OBS it only recognizes the desktop input and not the audio interface, I can see the name of my audio interface but when I play something in the controller it doesn't receive any signals, however I can see the signal coming from Desktop Audio and I'm wondering if that's the same audio from the controller directly since is already connected to my laptop to be able to mix through the traktor software. I guess my question is if I need the audio interface with the xlr cables at all since I'm getting the signal through the Desktop Audio Input. Did you find a different way? Yellowfuck is no longer available
It says awaiting USB connection for OBS on my iPhone what do I do?
Make sure to have the latest version of iOS and OBS app. Also, if you have an iPhone that's too old, it might not work (but not sure about that).
Can anyone please tell me why in this way my sound goes to MONO and with a cut quality?
👍👍👍
The android version
Sorry but for android? How i can connect with obs?
Andrea Bambace will get my hands on an Android phone soon and will test some solutions. Keep you posted.

OBS App cost 10.99 but per Month. Just as an info. Lifetime price: 199.99. Good Luck. For that money you can buy a nice webcam.
Where is the android version G
sorry buddy, very busy at the moment. There are probably other tutorials on TH-cam showing how it’s done with Android.
I’m literally 1 step away: the stream key is incorrect how do I fix this?
what does the error message say exactly? make sure to paste the URL and stream key into OBS right after logging in to Yellow Duck. Have you tried multiple times or just ones?
@@residentdjwithdorian5305 it only said stream key incorrect with yellow duck but I got it to work with twitch I am currently doing it right now
@@residentdjwithdorian5305 I also discovered that the yellow duck stream key is only valid for a few seconds
