ye is 7/7 my dude. Daytona is 2/7. If You Know You Know, Come Back Baby Kids See Ghosts is 3/7. Feel the Love, Freee, 4th Dimension NASIR is 6/7. Not Simple Things
Tyler Barron ye was the best. It only appeals to people with emotions who isnt always all about that hard shit. Every fool nowadays thinks they hard as fuck lol
I love the production in this song might be my favorite of the album, hooked me instantly on first listen it almost has a Wild West feel especially with the strings
He never gets enough love for it, but Pusha is one of the absolute top tier lyricists ever. People dismiss it as “Coke rap,” but don’t actually take the time to really think of how inventive Pusha is with language. He has a poets eye for editing as evidenced by the sparseness of his verses. He isn’t an Eminem or drake or even a Pac because his verses are always completely devoid of unnecessary words or phrases. People may not understand how HARD it is to pare down verses to their essence where only the words that are supposed to be there are present. It’s way easier to write a giant verse like Eminem than a completely stripped, perfect verse like Push (not saying Em’s entendres and rhymes aren’t impressive, but Em verses almost always have several misses or just words for rhyming sake-filler). Pusha is just one of the GOATS.
@@blkpaladin7992 the emotion in his delivery Just anybody listening to Freedom from Till The Casket Drops will understand what I mean. Pure Hip Hop Might cry by the ending
the way pusha raps makes every bar sound like some eye opening shit. he could be rapping a list of the ingredients for a ham sandwich and i'd still be questioning my existence
Drake is my favorite artist but Infrared SLAPS! And so does Pusha T. I actually used to hate Pusha T but now I realized it was immature to hate him for the reason I did.
God damn that shit about lox givin the best mixtape moments is trrrue specially styles its hard to find any single rapper who has spit so much 🔥 in the underground
I’ve always liked shorter albums. Quality over quantity
And you can listen to them fully more
Facts
Facts, people bloat their albums for more streams but you can tell who cares more about good music and quality albums then money.
I have never skipped one song on Daytona. Full workout to that album. Cant say the same for many artists.
Like illmatic

Why? I mean does he really need to? This isn't mumble rap, remember
It speaks for itself. Nothing to break down

One of my fav unorthodox Ye instrumentals of all time. The chops are rediculous.
The undisputed champ of articulate and eloquent drug dealer rhetoric
Kayne's Ye album is the correct length. Its 23 minutes long, meaning you can listen to it on your way to work or school in one sitting.
Idk why I’m responding to a 3 year old album but ye feels so long even though it s only 23 monuyes
If push drops this year, it will probably be the best year for hiphop of this decade
