...and She's a Star [SFM - Super Metroid]

- The plot twist is that I completed a video for once! A REAL VIDEO!
Loosely inspired by the old Japan only Super Metroid 4-koma. I just wanted to animate Samus doing cool crap, then getting lost in the depths of space forever. Don't worry, she'll be better by the next video if I decide to do another.
This took such a ridiculous amount of effort to make work, especially the afterimages for the speed booster, jeeze, so much compositing had to be done to get that to work! All the porting, scenebuilding, fixing, re-fixing, all for 55 seconds of footage. Well... I got to animate Samus being a force of nature so I'm happy!

The Map Cartographer I really wish it was an attack in Smash. Maybe a final smash or an air smash attack. I know we have the shoulder tackle dash attack but it's more like a kindaspark

I loved how the afterimages flew in separate directions on impact, just like in Super Metroid.

Storm Missiles before Storm Missiles were a thing. Props to you
49 onwards it's just a _fuck you physics_ moment. I guess that bouncing out of a sudden implies that suddendly Smash Bros Physics work as she gets damaged by the moon's surface. but... the camera pans to the left once she has left.... then... she appears to the right? did she manage to make one whole orbit in less than 1 second?

adamtheamazing64 Plus her alien bird DNA must have given her the ability to counteract vertigo like most birds seem to lack.

You predicted the Storm Missile perfectly
The Storm missile are basically just Seaker missles, which were introduced in Prime 2 back in the mid 2000s, so I wouldn’t exactly call it a prediction.
I always wondered how she doesn't end up doing something like this with the shinespark.
Later, Samus would awaken in the speed force, along with Kid Flash, who was basically stuck there since the ending of Young Justice.
I have no words...
now I'm thinking about speedrunning >:3
