Overland 4x4 Mountain Exploration PART 1 | Suzuki Jimny, Jeep Cherokee, Nissan Patrol offroad

- This time, we went on a 1000km overland exploration trip in the Rhodope mountain in a group of three 4x4 vehicles - the Suzuki Jimny along with a Jeep Cherokee and a Nissan Patrol. An offroad adventure that takes us back in time hundreds, even thousands of years.
We visit some astonishing places in Bulgaria that tell amazing stories - From the ancient history of the Thracians to early medieval Byzantium - on this overland adventure trip we uncover cities lost in time, conquer the steep walls of old fortresses, and admire picturesque mountain views.
The terrain was challenging as we cross a variety of muddy tracks, washed-out roads, river crossings, snowy hills, and icy slopes.
Some of the historical sites we visit include:
- The natural landmark - Belintash
- The medieval fortress - Ustra
- The Devil's Bridge near the city of Ardino
- The rock-hewn sanctuary & fortress Hasara near Angel Vojvoda

Splendid video! Would you mind sharing roughly track location (coordinates etc for enthusiasts to try/attempt it) ?
I will think about recording tracks in the future for viewers.
Usually, I open a couple of maps and find a suitable track as I go and don't keep it afterword.

I think that the road you were on, the one where you couldn't go up, was more for logging, in general tractors and TAFs are used, that's why it's impractical

I'm 95kg 184cm 😉 but I will still suggest you do a test drive before buying
