I generally love your content and I know you've said before that you're moving to a more free style to help you get videos out. However, I found this one really hard to follow. A clear step by step guide with less repetition and firm examples would have made this more effective.

Where might I find play testers? I make posts on a forum, but I think I could definitely do more play testing with others. I'm very hesitant to make a Discord for myself or my game. I don't want to manage a big server if my game does get big.

Finding players is always hard, but uploading a demo to say itch will also bring in some players naturally. Next try the usual: social media, reddit, fb... There are groups of people playtesting eachothers games!

Expanding on the social media aspect… I’d say that also having a preexisting social media follower base that ALSO is in line with your aimed demographic can bring in people who you already intend to sell while advertising yourself to newcomers. The (giant) issue is in getting people to be interested in your game is hard and getting them to follow your socials in the first place is on top much more harder and time consuming.
