Well, I wasn't expecting I'd run into some real life stuff to delay my uploads, but here's Acid Man's theme! I wound up having this stuck in my head so I covered it in a whim.

If you look in the background while you're travelling through his stage, you can see that Acid man is actually watching megaman in the background as he'll swim through the acid current in the background while you're travelling the stage every now and then.
That's interesting. I'll keep an eye out for that when I get my hands on the game.
You find it easiest in the first part of the stage in the window.

MarkTherence, I love your work, but here's an idea (plz don't think of this as me being rude); Instead of doing of the Robot Master themes from Mega Man 11 as 8-Bit style remixes, why don't you do remixes of the OTHER Robot Master themes from the other games Mega Man 11 style?
Sorry If you're getting confused with my wording; What I mean Is, try making the stage themes of the Robot Masters from Mega Man 1-10 In the style of Mega Man 11s music.

Honestly, Mega Man 11 has a very solid robot master lineup. All of them are pretty cool/have fun personalities and a unique boss fight.
I really like how 0:38 resembles Battle Network 6 main theme

This still has a sinister tone to it at first but sounds cool as it progresses along but I'm stumped on which I like better "the original" or this "8 bit classic" sounding version. They are both great in their own rights.

Man, the choices that they made, instrumentally, in this game really do NOT let the compositions shine. All these 8-bit versions show that there IS great music in Mega Man 11, it just was done a big disservice by being buried in uninspired sound choices. The soundtrack sounds like a forgettable Bomberman title more than the latest Maga Man game. Thanks for putting these together so I can better appreciate the writing.

That's one of the main reasons I took it upon myself to cover the songs to be more akin to how Capcom would do it in the style of MM6/9-10! I'm glad you can appreciate the compositions better in this format now. :D

Same here! It really took me a number of listens to get used to every track from the game so I could at least have enjoyment in covering them. And Impact Man is next too!

@@mechlord-emperor9682 Overproduced "techno" that drowns out melody and structure due to its mundane instrumentation voicing....yeah, better is very subjective here bud. Maybe if the compositions were a bit more interesting it would work, such as in the battle network series. Don't forget the game is called ROCKman, and the exclusion of any kind of guitar in this soundtrack was a crime... You know its unsuccessful when they release a whole alternate soundtrack as they got feedback and realized OG fans hate this stuff. But if you enjoy it, good on ya!
@@shadowkid124 personally I wouldn't call it overproduced or unfitting. Imo most of the tracks are composed very well, and the instrumentation fits the aesthetic of the game. Acid man is one of my personal faves in the original. Also the remade ost is made by the same composer. In the official soundtrack for the game she also made more remakes of the stages, which use different instruments. She definitely can produce something like what you described, but she chose not to, I guess because she came to a similiar conclusion that the og instrumentation worked. But I'm no music critic, these are just my thoughts :p
@@shadowkid124 Eh, I guess musics pretty subjective. As someone who loves all the Mainline Mega man osts (well except 3,4,5, 6, and 8, but they're still pretty good) I can't really agree with this. Firstly, most of the ML Mega Mans are 8 bit with 8 bit music, so I think the no rock complaint in a tad silly. Heck, even 7 and 8 weren't super rock centric really imo, and neither were the alternate tracks to 11. And I don't know what at all you're talking about with the techno drowning out the melodies, 11 has some of my favorite melodies in the series, and they complement the overall composition really well. Sorry if I sounded pretentious or anything in this, just wanted to defend my fav ML Mega man ost, but it's still my opinion though.

Why does this theme sound so sad?
Most Megaman songs are in a minor key (often melodic minor.) Minor key songs tend to have a somber or "sad" sound to them.
Minor keys have a minor 3rd scale degree instead of a major 3rd, which is largely where that somber feeling comes from.
So you're not crazy for thinking this! In fact, it means you have a good ear!

0:38 Here's why it's an incontrovertible, objective, motherf*cking fact that this song is a disappointment. It abruptly turns into a generic title screen theme. What a disappointment for this game to have the first mediocre soundtrack in its series.
EDIT: I forgot that this is a remix and not the official version. The guy who made this arrangement is a commendable artist.
