Hahahaa Thank you! I get this question a lot. Here are my recommendations on what to look for & thoughts, because I'm not exactly sure why you can't use either, so I'll toss out anything I can think of and hope it gives you options: Clear Lemon extract- like the type you would use in frosting or cakes, but it's 80% alcohol. Evaporex (bakers use this as a substitute for vodka)- 100% food grade alcohol. Baker's Spirits aka rejuvenators spirits aka edible paint dilutor - Also 100% food grade alcohol. Finally, Water - Downside is because it will take longer to dry, you risk your fondant absorbing it, thus getting sticky, shiny fondant. It works! But you have to be more cautious with your painting. If you use it on chocolate or buttercream, you risk drips because it takes longer to dry, but also very doable- just takes practice. Basically everything is some type of alcohol, but different places and countries sell it under different names. I hope this helps and you can work with one of these! ❤️
Thanks 🎉

Where do you buy your color dust?
Either Amazon, or online from a Restaurant Depot. Just depends on how fast I need it, and who has it cheaper 😉
What brand color dust do you recommend on Amazon?
