That’s fantastic! I think you can do it too. Even if you don’t get it perfect the first time, I think you’ll have fun and learn a lot just by trying something you enjoy never done before. Thank you so much for watching!
Hi Kyong! Thank you so much for sharing this technique - will definitely try this as I have a lot of cake rubber stamps to experiment with😊 - greatly appreciated❣️ Best wishes, Cynthia
Hi Kyong,Im a big fan..do love art and baking..been struggling lately, came across these..I am from the Philippines, cant find cocoa butter can I used regular butter instead?
The more you paint on an area, the warmer that area gets, so you could switch to another area like the next rose, or pop the cake back into the fridge.
can you make a video for other non-alcohol dipping solution substitutions aside from cocoa butter? thank you 🤗 i have seen other people use essence, lemon juice and flavorless oil, im interested on other alternatives that you use 💙
Have you found that you prefer one technique over another (painting with gel colors and vodka vs cacao and powder colors)? Painting on butter cream vs fondant? Thanks :)
For painting on buttercream I definitely prefer the powder and cocoa butter because there is no bleeding. It also works really well for painting on ganache. I haven’t tried it much on fondant though.
Thanks for the tutorial, I can't wait to give this a try
