I think some people forget but lightning greaves also works for haste and are probably already playing it
Yes, BUT, and it's a big butt... ugh but, the equip of greaves is sorcery speed and worst of all STOPS your deadeye navigator from flickering it since garth would get shroud from the greaves. A complete fail... much like Garth himself. 😆

@@danthemankandy Agreed, but the creature you're targetting with Navigator that has shroud IS being targeted. So no matter who you put the creature on between Garth and Navigator, the shrouded one can't be protected by the flicker effect.
and you can destroy any Artifact, enchantments, and non-black creatures your opponents put up to protect themselves and regrow anything that happens to be in your graveyard along the way
or draw your deck and play these 2
Price of Knowledge and any way to prevent your opponents from casting at instant speed, then give there deck into their hand and pass turn
Price of Knowledge:
Players have no maximum hand size.
At the beginning of each opponent's upkeep, Price of Knowledge deals damage to that player equal to the number of cards in that player's hand.
Don’t forget to bring Lightning Greaves for clean redundancy on the haste enabler, and shroud when not comboing

Thousand-Year Elixir let's us do the infinite mana thing for less color constraints

You can also with purgatory drake and animar use the deadeye navigator on purgatory drake and infinite manna and counters on animat

Logic
you stupid? you make infinite blue mana first (or let's say, 1 million blue mana), and then use those blue mana to blink him again and produce another color.
Logic.
You get black lotus which creates 3 of any color and flickering deadeye only costs 1 blue so you only need to produce blue one out of every 3 times you do this combo. You can use the other times to produce red, or whatever color you may need.

Chromatic Orrery may be wanted to make things just a little easier. Unless you wanna longer loop to do extra Lotus for Red Mana. Just a side though.
Chromatic Orrery isn't necessary. After flickering Garth enough and having infinite blue mana, you can spend some of that blue mana to flicker Garth and cast Black Lotus, cracking it for red. Repeat this and you'll have infinite blue and infinite red. You can get infinite mana of any colors this way.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who saw this combo. It was one of the first things I thought of when I saw Garth.
I have to admit it took me way too ling to remember a 2 mana repeatable flicker spell. If I build this deck its going to be nothing but ramp, tutor and as many ways to get this combo off. So theres a lot of ways to give haste but 2 mana flicker? is there any more?
@@whiteknight01 Emiel the Blessed + a cost reducer like Training Grounds or Biomancer's Familiar would do it.

Just put a freed from the real or pemmins aura on him. Costs 4 less mana to start, doesn't give enemies haste, just missing out on etb effects of other cards you might interact with
doesnt work because you have to choose a mode not chosen. blinking him gets rid of aura

Yes. I played an inf combo in my damia deck where u got inf mana with deadye and palinchron, cast rune-scarred demon to get blue suns zenith, draw your whole deck so you can answer any interaction, then flicker rune-scarred with deadeye to keep getting BSZ back and mill all your opponents decks with it.

me: paradox engine go burr....for real it goes in every single deck just throw some mana rocks in there like golden or jeweled lotus as well as any other cheep rock you have soon enough you can cast anything you want FOR FREE

You use the spare blue mana to activate navigators flicker, then choose lotus to create other types of mana

This card is going to get banned in commander. It makes a card thats banned in commander. Why would it be allowed?
Because the combo is jank. And it won't be banned.
If a card needs setup to be busted, it is not busted enough
I think it is no more broken than Urza, Lord High Artificer and that isn't banned yet
It's a 3-piece combo that needs like 8 mana in 1 turn, 5 colors. It's nowhere near the most powerful thing you can do in EDH, although one of the pieces is always in command zone, the haste piece has many alternatives, so it's also not the worst combo
Then dont try it wirh displacer Kitten. 2 mana cheaper und more infinit mana. ;)
Such a good combo... except removal and counter spells are staples in edh

I'm surprised that no one else has said it, but this combo doesn't work with these three cards.
Switch Mass hysteria for a Fervor or other enchantment/permanent effect that gives all your creatures haste and you are good to go.
The reason it doesn't work the way you think it does is simple. The first Garth One-Eye would get haste from Mass Hysteria. Then after Deadeye Navigator blinks him, he's a new creature. As such he is unaffected by Mass Hysteria which only affects the creatures in play when it is played.
This is incorrect. Mass Hysteria affects all creatures as long as it remains on the battlefield, including creatures that enter the battlefield after it.
Can't pick black lotus twice. Card says "one that hasn't been chosen already."
You can actually, as whenever you exile a creature and return it, the creature (or permanent) is a new object technically and has no ties to itself previously. Kinda a specific rule, but it does work
Wait this does not Funktion. Garth says "that has been named yet" but lotus was named already
It forgets what has been previously chosen when it gets flickered by deadeye navigator.

His text literally says that has not been chose from these cards. IE: he CANT MAKE A BLACK LOTUS? am I wrong or am I just crazy
You're correct, but if Garth is blinked it's treated as a new object when it returns. This gets around the "once" restriction. Read more here: mtg.fandom.com/wiki/Flicker

@@nickisom471 it's treated as a new object, hence it doesn't see any previously chosen cards. It doesn't say you can only choose each spell once during the entire game
I feel like the responses you got missed your point of confusion. His card doesn't read "choose any but these cards," it reads "choose one from this list that you haven't chosen yet."
Normally this would mean that you can choose black lotus. But only once. The next time you tap him and use his ability, the list of 6 available cards has shrunk to 5 cards.

Once you have infinite blue mana you can just create infinite of any color with this loop. It's infinite all colors.
with the infinite blue mana you can make infinite new black lotuses that tap for other colors. They kinda skipped that step
Once you produce infinite blue mana you can activate Deadeye infinite times to make infinite mana of any other color as well.
