Wizards printing cards to get around reserve list, I love it
Been doing that for YEARSSSS. Until now, nobody had a problem with it. And also, a black lotus turn 5 is a LOT worse than turn 1, to the point it’s not broken. So whatever, I’ll never be able to afford that card and I was 1 when it came out, so this allows me to play with one in some manner but never breaking reserve list? I’m all for it.

I'm excited for his ability, or at least for the possibility of "creating" cards and essentially running a 106-card deck. I don't think I'm likely to make a deck around him, but I could see him fitting nicely into a Jodah or Ramos five-color goodstuff deck. Maybe he just goes into basically any WUBRG deck just because he's a toolbox by himself and he's good even if you aren't trying to abuse him.
I mean, I might have to turn my Roon deck into 5 colors and make this guy the commander.
hes my excuse to use my new favorite combo hive mind and any and all of the pacts just pulled it off for the first time yesterday and it really put a smile on my face
I thought you could only cast each token once? "Choose a card name that hasn't been chosen..."
If a permanent leaves the battlefield and returns it’s considered a new object.
So you cast Garth, use all five of his abilities, flicker him and he’s a “different” Garth who can now use those abilities.

Awesome video. Could be decently powerful depending on the build and the meta. Appreciate the call to Kenrith. That's what this really reminds me of allot. O love that this could cover anything from casual to very powerful like Kenrith. I think we need more options out there like this especially for me Commander players where a simple deck can be built but sure to the nature of the Commander, you aren't just stick on one or two paths and as you grow as a player, your Commander can grow with you. Please keep up the great work. Btw I am subbed and have been for a bit. 😃
If you build him around tokens you could easily make a ton of Black Lotus’s and dominate.
Everyone's freaking out over the Black Lotus, ignoring that 70% of the time, it's not going to be as scary, especially when it's going to take you at least 3-5 turns (if you get all the lands necessary and don't miss a land drop) just to get him out while also hoping you have a means to give him haste. So 9/10 times, you're most likely not going to even get a lotus out until turn 6, which let's face it, removes a lot of the impact from the card where you'd have had a better and easier time cheating out a guilded lotus that does the same, but unlike black lotus, doesn't get sacked.
The problem comes from being able to abuse him and Essentially go infinite

@@sethnofcks6448 if you have lightning greaves out that’s free haste to any creature then you could put ephemerate on isochron scepter to infinitely blink with intruder alarm giving you infinite mana draw your whole deck and win lol

Watch him already be expensive.
