Thanks for these tips. I did the fronts a couple of weeks ago - and need to do the rears some time soon! Seems that replacing these control arms (on the front) eliminated a ton of the 'clunkiness' in my car! If I get the rear ones done, I may even be able to put off the new struts and mounts for a while!
good stuff! Did you do EBS or a different brand? Those arms aren't cheap at all. I was considering ordering over seas and buying meile brand for 106/pc but in the end got these off amz for 119/pc.
Porsche911luv I found EPS for the front on Amazon as well. Hoping to do the same for rear - are they same fit for both axles, or different front/rear part numbers?

for my car they are the same. I would believe your 996 should also be. I think the boxers were different.
