Part number shown in your video reads 997331043 01 /MEYLE MCA0828 which is solely for the 997 (perhaps 987 too, don't know) according to the Porsche parts catalogue.
I was searching for the difference between this 997-control arm and the 9x6 specific one (996341043 06, Meyle MCA1188) and your video came up as a result.
Had not expected to have the actual differences shown but you've pointed them out!
Thank you for that and especially confirming that the other relevant dimensions are identical.

This is a great tutorial with all the information needed. I'll be following this is the next month or two while going through my car's suspension. Thanks for taking the time to post this. Looking forward to any other projects you'll be doing to your 911!

Why don't you have to put hte car under load to torque?

OMG, that low speed rattle is so annoying (1999 with factory aero kit, arctic silver, 163k miles)! Thanks for pointing out to me what it was. Parts ordered (and some tools). Thanks for the videos, you don't get the views you deserve! Keep them coming! BTW, my stock motor mounts failed, seems they are filled with used motor oil and leaked. Replaced them with RSS semi-solids 6 years ago, no issues. IMS project in the future?

Yes IMS in conjunction with a engine build. I'm sure you noticed the head gasket let go, well it's actually pretty common to crack a cylinder head I guess.

You got meylE correct. Next, it's a porschE, not porsh. It's not a French car ;)
