      my question is: is it good to see everythign as dopamin source? Or is it good to break down everything to chemical messengers. If i do so, i wait till im fully grown up, then i go in the garden and lay myself on the meadow as fertilizer. I mean sure it is good to know that u can change the sources but u have to realize that seeing everythign as a source of dopamin can lead to not enjoying things anymore in my opinion, i have not tested it yet, but i will, i deeply realized right now how dopamin is arround everything me

    I also think that everyone needs to do a dopamine detox once in a while. Something I noticed is when I first started like, following your NoFap guidelines meditation etc, when I cut out some distractions on top of that, the mental clarity was ridiculous. When I started bombarding myself with distractions (TH-cam, gaming, SOCIAL MEDIA IS THE WORST IMO), the focus and mental clarity vanished as quick as it came. Personally, I think the dopamine detox should be done either once a month, or when your cognitive function goes down. Kinda like restarting a computer.

    I did a dopamine detox last week. I basically went a full day only journaling and doing meditation. No electronics, exercise, socializing, etc. The experience was quite insightful as I was able to clear my head and just let my thoughts and and stuff flow through me and onto the paper I was journaling on. I learned a good bit about myself that day. Helped reset my dopamine levels too. Good to see you covering this topic.

    The earlier generations (of our parents, grandparents and earlier) used to live this way naturally. They were more content with life, there were less cases of depressed people and suicide and men didn't fap as much as they do now. Semen retention was a natural way of living. Isn't that a coincidence? The world is becoming more and more feminine with everything at our fingertips. Real men are rare nowadays. Thanks Aanghel for your wisdom. Long time no see

I think some sources of dopamine (i.e. the News, or listening to a rant) can detrimental, depending on how they are absorbed. Watching some News is important. Some people my even get a dopamine high taking it in. I wonder if there's a way to be engaged in activities like the news, but remaining objective, analytical, but emotionally neutral. Or maybe that is over thinking. Peace.

    I cut out video games,tv,music,my phone, porn, masterbating for 60 days and I swear socializing became so much easier , I figured out that you replace the dopamine you get from socializing with other artificial dopamine rewarders so then you don’t feel the need to going out and socializing

      Omar JR it takes a lot of self discipline man,you have to stay dedicated and while your on the journey of doing it you have to add daily hacks like cold showers,no fap, meditation,excercise , and just stay focus on your purpose on your main goal in life and it’s sooooo attainable and easier when you have no distractions ,plus it helped that I had a 12 hour shift job ,you can do it man just take away all those daily distractions and put all that energy into something You TRULY want to do not what anyone else wants to do but what you want to doo

    I went to rehab and felt like a changed man.. no electronics at all..just nature...your thoughts and a therapist..i felt like I could achieve anything I wanted ..as soon as I came out and got my distractions back I was back to my old habits of binging and it completely blurred out my purpose in life.. it’s really hard when you have the distractions at your disposal..mad respect for the people who have the willpower ✨

      aanghel it’s on and off honestly like I want to go back to how things were and all but I think I’ll have to force myself by getting rid of the distractions..for starters I broke up with my gurl cause she wanted sex and refused to understand about semen retention...

    • @aanghel
      @aanghel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yoo you can still have sex and not release semen. It's called a dry orgasm lol. But if you feel you did what was right then by all means.

Hard things DID NOT seem fun to me at all . nothing feels changed ab me . basically what i’m trying to say is , just live your life how u want , at the end of the day , dopemine dependant or not .. whatever makes u happy just do it. everyone is different . there’s something for everybody . accept that fact
