Wonder if you could use more eyelet hooks and fishing line to the hands and make them move up and down independently of each other as the motor turns. It would make a crawling look
Hi. I love your uploads. Please could you explain your fishing line/several anchor points planning to create the headlifting mechanism? Many thanks and best wishes 👍

I had the same issue but I ended up moving the bottom eye hook back, closer to the motor. That ended up letting the head move, and prevented the line from having to get caught against the lower rib cage. Now the fishing line heads straight downwards from the back of the ribs. Hope that helps
On that same model, are two nubs that are in the neck hole that are keeping the pvc pipe from fitting perfectly into the head. Did you file those down?
Nice job! I’m trying to build something like this now, but can’t seem to get the tension on the wire right… there’s too much slack on the back part of the spin, or it’s head wants to pop off on the front depending on where I try to keep the support. What am I missing?

@@scarriehalloween oh interesting. The wiper motors I’ve used have always had a notched base with notched arms that come with them. But those are much shorter (only 2”). Haven’t been able to make a reliable diy arm.
You just thread the string through the eye hooks, starting at the neck (knot it here) thread through the shoulder eye hook, the rib cage eye hook, then knot it on the base eye hook. Hope that helps!
