How-to Wire Wiper Motor & Speed Controller
So very well done. : ) I did once made a jet engine look O like set of turbine blades like a real jet engine was installed in the jet engine intake. Made two rows of phony blades look like a whole turbine fan section back there. Using very similar technique. It's the static replica Me 262 at Mc. Minnville OR. Air Museum. : )
I liked learn something new each time then.
Love your yard haunt it looks amazing!
@@FrightmareHomeHaunt thank you so much!
Do you mind if i feature this on "my favorite Home Haunts" series?
@@hauntattheroxbury I’d love it!! Thanks for asking!
@scarriehalloween awesome!
@scarriehalloween the video is live on our channel
Hey Everyone! I'm the tour guide in the video. Sadly, I had to move away and couldn't continue to do it. I'm really glad you had a good time. You were a fun group! Stay spooky! -Rye P.S.- "Suitman" showed his face up close in another picture taken on accident by a guest about a year after this tour. I wish you guys could see it somehow.
@@bulldoghockey27 hey!! Thank you so much for this awesome guided tour! Your expertise will definitely be missed!
Got to love a gal that is into Halloween as much as me, knows what JB Weld is and has a Grand Piano ( being a piano player myself). Now if you owned a liquor store I would marry you if you were single. (I know you are not)lol. Great videos and rock on. Can't wait to see what's next. Just subscribed to your channel.
@@billhasty5197 lol thank you so much!
Very cool !
Great work, with your space it would be cool to add some wheels to make the ghost turn
😂😂😂
Wouldn't it be cheaper to get the motor from a junkyard? It wouldn't matter what vehicle it came out of and rarely do they ever go bad.
@@laff000 oh for sure! I don’t think it would matter what vehicle it came from. Just want to make sure it’s the front wiper motor, rather than rear
How do you connect it to use the car battery as the power supply? Thanks
Aside from the chair itself, what did the motor setup cost you?
Has anyone repurposed this setup for flying santas sleigh and reindeers. Looking for any tips
How much did it cost you to make it?
Did you use the 5-6 rpm motor?
@@c0pyimitati0n hi, yes I did 😊
@scarriehalloween thanks! I'll probably get that one and a speed controller. This looks great btw!
❤ I love you😂
DIY Flying Ghost Part 1 0932am 31.20.24 yeah.., if that was seen coming towards you in the dead of night i am sure you would need to do a double take and maybe run away....
how do you get it to loop around?
Are you using more than one chiller for you big yard video kind of looks like two
@@jaspercats it’s just one 🥰
Wow!!!!! That looks sooo awesome, I love it!!! 👍👍👍
I wanna know how you make your ghost not spin around. My ghost doesn’t fly forward all the time
AMAZING JOB! You should be extremely proud of yourself!!
@@abbottrm85 that’s so sweet. Thank you!
Great job. Thanks for explaining the job step by step. One thing though is you are calling your line connector a fish spindle. It is actually called a swivel and then a snap swivel to connect it.. Just thinking that may confuse someone trying to buy them.
I thought i went overboard decorating for Halloween but this is just next level
How do I find the flying ghost tutorial? I don't see it anywhere.
I got the wiper and motor wired. Wiper moves connected directly to power. But speed control only lights up when I add that to the mix 😢
I came here after watching Ace of Clay's video, in which he did a clay sculpture inspired by your video.
Aww! Thank you so much!
M
Could you connect a dryer hose directly to the fogger and chiller? It can obviously withstand heat, unless the fogger gets hotter than a dryer? I've never used either so I don't know...
Yes, you could also just put the fog machine right next to the box
I think you have aged best video on TH-cam! Amazing job. 0:51 How did you attach the motor to the wheel? When I tried it, it free spins.
So I finally tried this method with the motor recommended 15-16rpm and I dont think it has enough torque because it wont complete its rotation. So for anyone else who has a heavier swinging girl like I do, this motor won't work, I think you need a beefier one. I'm ordering a wiper motor which I think should do the job and supply the power/torque I need.
Really nice job.. very creative 👌. How many fog machines are you using in the graveyards
Hi Carrie! I made the set up, but do you have any advice on keeping the fishing line from falling off while in motion? Our ghost isn't that heavy, but as the ghost turns around to go the other direction, it seems to bounce a little and pops off the bicycle wheel.
@@AlmostaCowgirl hi! Sounds like your line needs to be tighter! Best way to achieve this is tightening it while it’s off the wheel, then pulling it back over the wheel carefully
This Woman is HALLOWEEN!

Said it before and I say it again. This lady is AWESOME
@@rtchap2 🥰🥰
Carrie don’t know why my bolt screw keeps coming off and dropping the pvc pipe
@@guero8820 you could add some glue on the bolt to the motor! I recommend Locktite
This woman is such and inspiration!
@@rtchap2 thank you! 🥰
What lights do you use that cycles through colors?
@@MXW979 I use these color changing solar lights for that! amzn.to/3qwkPJp
Has anyone had trouble hooking up the motor to the power supply? I can’t get mine to work, bought the linked materials and are using yellow and black wires.
@@spiffygirl303 I’m so sorry! I linked a different motor because the one I used was out of stock. This motor is green positive and black negative
Sometimes smaller is better. Fantastic!!
Thnxs a lot!
I'm glad my yard isn't that big. That is challenging. I'd like to see how you do the lightning. Maybe do a day time video with behind the scenes?
@@scaresandsparks I have a lighting video. 🥰
Brilliant!!!!
What bolt size are you using for the cross brace? Mine bent causing it to bind up and stop spinning
@@LucianoBradley12 I ended up using a thicker 4” bolt
Carrie that looks awesome, you've been such an inspiration for my yard haunt this year.
@@MegaKemper aww! Thank you so much! Happy Halloween!
This is my new favorite Halloween Channel!! I love your creativity on a budget!! I am making this zombie and the other graveyard fence zombie to add to my haunt this season! Thank you! Thank you for taking the time to do this and share your gifts with us! Love it!!
@@chadrobbins7225 thank you so much!
U r the best in the game 🔪🪓🩸🎃
🥰🥰
Spooky
If you’ve got battery powered tools like a hammer drill, you can touch the wires on the nodes around positive and negative to find out which is which. Some rotate the motor in another direction and has varying speeds.
