Adam, thanks for the great content. I was hoping you could give me a quick suggestion on tattoo machines. I’m just going to be starting my apprenticeship in the next couple of weeks and need to get a quality tattoo machine. I’ve been looking at the Fold Pro, Prime Pen, and the Sketch Steam One. Can you give your opinion of which is the best overall for starting out? Thanks again!
I have one and love it. Shames so many high priced machines! I got 2 batteries so battery life isn't a problem but i do only get 4hrs per battery. It feels great, it looks great. Highly recommend
@@swervv2957 I do all styles but mostly color and it works very good for me! Motor feels strong because the speed controller, I kinda explain it in the video
I liked the company when I worked with them. The prophet was a nice machine ahead of its time. It was too long. But used the cheaper replaceable batteries. And I swear their efficient and flexible modes altered the wattage like the Acus. Before Acus even existed. But it had that same feel of the motor.
Hey Adam, I was going to buy a tattoo machine for my Partner as a Christmas gift, who is still a beginner. Since I am not knowledgeable about this kind of stuff, I have been reading some reviews and found your videos very informative and helpful. I recently watched your recommendation on the EZ P3 Pro and the Turbo version and found it very appealing. The SS One seems to be the best value for money, however, I am concerned about the fixed stroke length. I assume that, for a beginner, it is better to have a machine that can change the stroke length to be able to practice different techniques and have the option to switch between lining and soft shading with a single tool. But I might be wrong and perhaps having this fixed 4mm Stroke length is not that big of an issue. Could you please advise?
Many artists that start with stroke adjustable machines waste a whole year or two fucken with the machine instead of practicing proper technique. If ink isn’t going in the way they want it to they blame the stroke length they are in instead of themselves when in reality it’s themselves because they are new. Believe it or not but a fixed stroke length machine is best for a beginner! 4mm stroke length can do all styles and is less overwhelming
@@adamdarklord Oh, I see, that is a very good point, I shall get the SS One then. Thank you very much for taking the time to reply to my inquiry :) I wish you a nice day!
Hi, please please , can you do review of WOS tattoo machines ? I feel like noone know then even they are making amazing machines. Talking about direct drive stroke adjustable machine made Be them maybe more than 2 years ago.
I have one video on it…. I refused to work with them because they had a greedy deal that didn’t support the channel. I don’t work with companies that do shit business or that are disrespectful 🙌
@@adamdarklordactualy im right now watching your video with WOS machine and i wanted to delete my comment. But you already replied so i will leave it here. Thank you and im sorry that i did comment and didnt check your chanel first
@@adamdarklord Nice ! It’s also a Faulhaber motor so I m intrigued about how it’s different with the other company who using it ! Hope you will do it 🤞

Sketch Steam One is the best out of the machines you listed 🙌
It’s the best bang for your buck I can think of
@ thank you. I had it narrowed down to the Sketch Steam One and the Prime Pen. Thank you!

@ one last question. The SS One or EZ P3 Pro Turbo?
Now i know why the battery runs out pretty quick on mine! Great review as always!
Wish I went more in depth for you in the video lol I like how the machine feels 🙌
@@adamdarklord honestly it feels good and quite strong, just the battery and vibration that bothering me actually
glad you got one!!! i love my prophet!!!
I haven’t tried the Prophet yet but I’d imagine it’s good quality all the way through! 🔥

What type of work do u do most? Is the motor strong?
@@swervv2957 I do realism mainly. It's not the best machine if you're doing fat lines all day but for realism it's perfect.

Hi. How long does it take to recharge the battery to 100%

You almost had me on this one. I was considering it till the battery life and the part on the motor wattage.
I can find things wrong with every machine I look at that costs more
you should do a review on the PIONEER-FURY 1.47-inch Color Screen Wireless Tattoo Pen by Jason Ramos & OG it has 3 different settings!. for only 300
It does suck that its so low of a watt motor other than that and no interchangeable grip its not bad for pricing
I was nice meeting you at the Madison Tattoo convention 🙌
@adamdarklord same to you. I have my email on my profile. We could communicate through email.
