+ramesh shah i cannot say it taste like cheese at all. It has a very unique slightly bitter flavor that absorbs other flavours well like the seasonings and salt fish in traditional Ackee and Saltfish.
Its an actual fruit that needs to be cooked. It has its own distinctive taste. All i can say is it tastes like "A west indian island in your mouth". The texture is like a soft scrambled egg and the taste is just hard to describe. But it smells and tastes awesome. I could eat it everyday for life.
