- The Dark Knight, through his intensive training, has mastered the art microsleep a brief periods of unconsciousness, without his conscious awareness. While microsleep poses real-life dangers, Batman employs this ability to enhance his problem-solving skills.
Motivated by a tragic past, Batman with his intelligence, physical prowess, and an array of gadgets combats crime in Gotham City. - ภาพยนตร์และแอนิเมชัน

There's a storyline where Darkseid manages to mind control and enslave Batman making him his main general...he would go on to conquer most of the galaxy and defeat the JL within like, weeks because of Bruce's genius level strategic abilities. Superman gets mind controlled almost monthly and they stop it in a day. Batman gets converted once and conquers the world lol.

Bruce is supposed to be in “peak physical condition”; built like Chris Bumstead, but with the cardiovascular conditioning of a CrossFit athlete.
It is physically impossible (as in defies the laws of physics) for a person to achieve that without 7-9 CONSECUTIVE hours of sleep, on a consistent basis. If all you’re doing is “Micro napping” a few times a day (even if it totals up to several hours), then your body will begin to deteriorate pretty quickly, and your cognitive functioning goes along with it.
The whole “micro napping” thing pushes Batman into the territory of “super-human”; which kind of takes away from his character IMO. Batman, needs his rest - he’s only human.

I came here looking for this comment. I suffer from terrible insomnia and have done since I was very young - around 4/5 years old. Nothing helped/helps.
The most terrifying microsleep experience I had was when I was driving home, at 2am from a work's Christmas party. I don't drink, and was stone cold sober, but I'd been at work since 6.30am/7am right through to the Christmas party.
I was 3 miles from my home, on a straight stretch of road, at 2am on an icy night. I remember the start of the road, and the next thing I know, I was 200 yards further down the road, and had drifted into the next lane of the dual carriageway. I was very lucky I woke up when I did. Had I not, I would have ploughed into the newly erected roundabout.☠️
I just can't get sleepy behind the wheel. My subconscious just doesn't allow it.
Try getting home after a double shift. Waking up wide awake in a panic, thinking, how the hell did I get here?
How about not driving home sleepy and taking a nap in the car instead?

I can't really explain it but if you're tired in the middle of the day or have brain fog it can really help.
