and in some cases, Chevy Caprices (this was something a co-worker, who happens to be a huge car fanatic, pointed out when i brought my netbook to work and played the arcade game via MAME).
i'm pretty sure Konami was pissed off about that, just like ID Software allegedly was when Nintendo of America censored the hell out of Wolfenstein 3D (and of course, it supposedly led ID Software to give the Wolfenstein program code to Wisdom Tree to make Super Noah's Ark 3D).
Surprisingly yes. Even though there's more color and seems less grainy, the Genesis version had a lot more animation, it was more satisfying to kill enemies. The Sega CD version is even better with way better music and sound quality.
@@ColonyWarrior People do it all the time with various consoles of different generations, what you and I would call an unfair comparison, it's something they give 2 shits less about.
Despite the censorship, I still think this is the better version of Lethal Enforcers. The Genesis version had very washed out looking graphics and poor sounds, while the Sega CD version boasted superior audio but still had the same washed out look. It's almost like the source code for the Sega versions were the same, just with different audio!
The censorship is quite light@@Jacobcoutts25, hardly noticeable. Not like the criminals would violently explode in a blaze of blood and guts. If anything, they barely animated when shot in the arcade version. I played a lot of this when it came out in arcades back in the day. Your reasoning, as expected, is quite poor.
Colors are defint better on the snes then the genesis version, Music prob cleaner then genesis but seems genesis version plays more smoother and enemies have better overall animation. I could play both, genesis could be a better version to play, despite the lower color count. Actually the sound isn't all that bad on the genesis version, quite good actually.
i still have it for super nes you can use the controller as well i do have the blue gun however the gun does not work on flat screen so you can use the controller hope this helps

YOU CANT SHOOT ME!!! *gets shot in the face
The music to the game is pretty cool.
(Snes Ver.)
The Bank Robbery 0:41
Downtown Assault 6:33
Hjacking 17:00
The Gunruners 26:20
Chemical Plant Sabotage 36:49
Wow, that old man is hardcore. Walking through a downtown shootout and not giving a fuck.
Loved this game as a kid!
Such a dope game with a BAD ASS SOUNDTRACK.
The flying corvette made me laugh
i like how the title screen is a still from the intro to the dirty harry film magnum force, if you seen the film you'll know what im talking about.
The hostage at 2:11 looks just like my dad when he was younger!
You see back in the 90s all your bad guys wore suits, shot M16s and drove around in Cadillacs.
I see that gray Caddy Deville up in there! Cool! I love those type cars man
Why do they keep saying "you missed me" before you even shoot at all?

I never understood why the Night Vision is turned on near the end of Stage 5.
Michael Douglas was used to get the thief movements?
Wow, this is impressive for the SNES!😮😱🤯😶🌫️😄🤩😎👌
Yeah, right at 28:40.
43:30 That's right, a revolver took down an ATTACK helicopter.

PS1 version, bundled with LE2 destroys all the versions you listed.
@@Bloodreign1 Yeah but those versions are 32 bit, not a fair comparison

what about the sunglasses?
I played the arcade version. I would not be good enough to be a cop or a detective.

Lauren Tyler this version is bad cause of the censorship!

The subway shootout them song almost sounded like Everybody Walk The Dinosaur lol.
jpeg compression: the game
Yeah, Konami is so much capable of better.
I never knew they released a snes version.
Despite the changes, at least there's great music. And besides, both games work with the Justifier. It's just a shame it didn't have the sequel.
Carlo Nassar it's not great!
@@Jacobcoutts25 You should've said that you personally don't like it.

I bet Konami was FURIOUS at the U.S. Government and Nintendo for censoring this game.
Jeremy M I believe they were, as the sequel, Lethal Enforcers II: Gun Fighters, was released only on the Genesis.
The Sony Playstation version has Lethal Enforcers 1 & 2. Which looks closest to the arcade. Best port in my opinion.
I'd say not too pissed, they released almost 50 games for the SNES in total.
@@chrisdavis4292 Best port yes, but runs a little too fast, even faster than the arcade original.
cool man
you missed me! uhhh!!

Does the superscope work with this game or do you have to have the konami light gun?
No, it`s impossible. You can play this game only with the controller or with the Justifier (the Konami light gun) .

this port is inferior compared to the genesis version
This game sucks on the snes due to censorship
Not much censorship to begin with, but you are like a broken record, and this is all you can say about the game.
You are just a dick, son.
