Thanks for showing it can be done in an hour instead of weeks and never getting to the end. You were pretty awesome especially towards the end! You never lost a life!!!
My bro Redd and I used to spend HOURS trying to beat this game; we'd usually make it to the last couple of levels and run out of steam. We did eventually beat it though, a few times in fact with different characters each time. Gave it a great replay value being able to use vastly different characters and taking different routes through some of the levels.
Eric prydz - Opus ending was inspired in the intro of this game and when I heard it I remembered the times 25 years ago when I played this great game with my brother.
MAN YOUR PARTHNER LIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I PLAYED THIS GAME WHEN I WAS YOUNGER I FINISHED THE GAME WITH ALL CHARACTERS BUT MY PARTHNER NEVER LIVED THANKS FOR GAMEPLAY DUDE!
I had alot of fun with this steampunky jaunt. Rented it from Blockbuster Video back when it came out. Spent all weekend playing this. Thanks for posting this and bringing back some old memories. All you longplayers seem to do that quite a bit.
I loved this game in the SNES back in my childhood in the 90s, I always wondered what was the meaning of the dinosaur in the image? I would like to know more about the history involved... for me this game deserves a movie....
I like the way it reminds you it is infact called "The Chaos Engine" at the end of the game :). Seems a little odd to slap a bad Soldier of fortune logo (with a palette that doesnt match the game) over the original.
i much prefer the sega version, maybe because i grew up with it and it's difficult to accept the snes one :D but it's great that i can see this longplay of it ,i missed seeing and palying this game! thanks a lot!
this shit was a classic. i remember fighting with my brothers for coins because after every 4 or so levels you can spend those coins on extra lives. it was always about thug and navvie.
The SNES version of The Chaos Engine only needs a FastROM patch to eliminate slowdowns, and be the definitive console version. A matter of time... i guess.
Yet the person playing this version, who is from an area that the Amiga was popular, and the MD, says this version has a better visual area to see enemies. People like you are funny, though not as funny as you'd like to think you are. By the way, resolution plays ZERO part in how fluid a game plays, so you are full of yourself.
This brings back so much memories :)
This game really aged well imo
Thanks for the vid! :)

One of my favorite SNES games, period.

Pretty impressive audio quality for snes, battle tunes repeat a bit but voice samples sound nice and clean
Better graphics than Genesis but the Genesis is damn good too. I would assume the Genesis had a better soundchip for the music
great game still have it and still play it i didn't think i would ever defeat the chaos engine best sound of any super nintendo game
oh man this music brings me back to the genisis days! haha thanks for including the intro!

THANKS FOR GAMEPLAY DUDE!
Love this game. And love the Amiga version (especially because of the much better soundtrack).

Amazing super nintendo game brother!
Didn't know Chaos Engine was called this on Snes
Lacking of any boss fights.
Love this game growing up
*NOSE ACTIVATED!*

Everybody walks like they're on Cocaine...

Maybe it was one of the creatures Chaos Engine created ?

you know how long I have been looking for this game?
I thought this game was a fever dream straight up!
i remember playing this all the time.
Un. Juegazo....👍🇩🇴
That logo was a little half-assed.
Does anyone think the Maze world might have influenced the Matrix films??
The only game I could NEVER beat
scientist and mercenary were my characters, the mind and the might united
Uno de mis juegos preferidos q recuerdos neta
I forgot all about this game. I remember renting this back when I was fourteen. Good memories. It's an okay game for being a top down game.
Great memories
Currently playing this 😎🤩
nice Chaos Engine (Amiga original) SNES port
Oh this game is really bad ass.
One boss the entire game
lol i never beat the last boss but i see it leaves alot to be desired :/ Still, I loved playing this back in the day with my little bro and dad :)

Jogava a versão do Mega Drive, porém essa de Super Nintendo ficou melhor.

SPECIAL POWWRERR
Мляяя ! Всегда считал эту игру непроходимой. Этот чувак играет как робот !
Could never beat the beginning levels but did random passwords to play other levels
I'm not entirely sure this game even came out in Japan.
After I finish a mission I don't see the password anywhere. Can anyone tell me where I can find it in the game?
It’s after you defeat a World ( four levels)
I wonder why they changed the name.
Just like a south american war for the possession of the acre.

still think amiga version is the king ;D
erm, on Amiga this was called Chaos Engine.
this was a weird game. i had it for genesis.
Ten years ago...
The title is rather misplaced compared to the other graphics - or could be because I´m used to the actual title "The Chaos Engine".
I always wondered why they changed the character's name "Preacher" to "Scientist" on the console versions :P
Muy bueno videojuego
Пацан все нычки знает в этой игре, я боюсь узнать сколько он играл в неё до записи
Да вообще далеко не все

jogo difícil do capiroto
BETTER ON AMIGA AND GENESIS. SNES LESS RESOLUTION LESS FLUID GAME.

A version do Genesis é melhor!!
