verry cool! since you did all of that fine detail work, some seat cushions would give it that extra touch. maybe some rod holders and outrigger poles. i wish i was 2 inches tall for a day or 2 and cruise around the lake.

Hi echt schickes Boot , mir sind aber ein paar Kleinigkeiten Aufgefallen ,
Es scheint so als wenn deine Heckabrisskante nicht scharfkantig ist ,
und deine Lauffläche Lackglatt ist ,besser mit 400-600 Nassschliff ,
das bremst beides durch Ansaugeffekt .Dann läuft die auch freier.
Kannst du die beiden AB`s unabhängig steuern ,dann könnteste cool Anleger fahren ,seitwärts und so ?
Ja du hast recht die Abrisskant liegt ca. 8cm vor den Antrieben ist aber auch bei dem Original auch so. Das größte Problem ist das Gewicht. Das Teil bringt Fahrfertig fast 26 kg auf die Wagge. Mein neues Projekt Startet bald und ich habe mich entschlossen alles nach Maßstab 1: 5 zu bauen und dann mit 4 Motoren. Das soll dann eine Nor-Tech 550 Sport CC werden. Länge um 2.4 Meter.
That boat is solid. It rides through so smoothly, gives it a realistic appearance with the outboards…. Exceptional.

I've been in the hobby for 40 years and that boat is super cool .and dispute the armchair quarterbacks the boat is fine if your not happy with the ride adjust the trim tabs up a bit what are you running for power 6s also prop selection is the best performance increase on a boat there's a guy dasboata online show him the video and he will set you up with the perfect props he custom preps sharpens and balances them
Agree with DasBoata. He has made me several sets of props. He is not cheap, but he makes some serious custom props.

Thank you for your message. I don't think you can make this hull with that strength on a 3D printer. For these engines, the fuselage must be at least 1.50 meters long. Check out all videos from the 450 Sport CC. Then you know why. It's a prototype and there are no plans

Do they trim up though
The boat is ready to go and weighs 26 kg and as the next update I will make the trim tabs a little larger again. But one thing is clear that a center console boat in terms of trim and weight is not comparable to a monohull of this size. The two motors together weigh 3.8 kg.

Excellent scale RC boat. I believe I was one of the first to do a center console (scale) RC boat. Maybe not the very first, but pretty close. You can look at the videos on my channel. This Nor-Tech is very well done. The only issue is with the scale. The Nor-Tech 450 (45 foot boat) would have 4 engines, maybe even 5 engines. I know those scale outboards are big and expensive. Not taking away from this model but in terms of scale, those outboards are massive. This model would be closer to a 32 footer if the outboards define the scale.
Hi Chris, that was my problem from the start. The weight!! The MHZ motors are 1:5 scale and an original Nor-Tech 450 has 4 outboards. But I wanted the performance I knew the boat will weigh a lot more than a normal RC boat. I made a compromise with that first boat. If you want scale and everything to fit, the fuselage needs to be about 2.5 meters or 8 feet long. The next project is already with me and will have 4 engines, we will have a Nor-tech 550 Sport and we will put 4 MHZ outboards on the boat. Battery Lipo 12 s 8500 mha and should weigh less than 38 kg. Construction time about 16 months.

Hull is buried in the water, not climbing up on strakes, losing performance and scale look . Needs more rigging adjustments or hull is f-up
Thank you for your message. I know the ship is about 2000 grams too heavy and I have to get some more weight out of it. I'm still not happy with the performance. But that's the challenge of building a ship near to perfection.
