I have a 1989 Lincoln Town Car and the engine bay is built I was wondering can I cover up the same thing that you cover up so I won't damage the engine and also in the engine need to be cold? And also do I need to disconnect battery I really don't want to damage the engine of this old car it runs really good it only has 63000 miles on it
I bought my Town Car a few months back and really need to clean the engine compartment before changing spark plugs. Its so dirty that when I remove the coil packs dirt and debris can easily fall down onto the spark plug. What would you recommend for cleaning the crap that collects directly around the coil packs?
You have a completely Aluminum intake manifold there. Where did you get it? Why did you get it? And what benefit if all has it done for the vehicle? I have 2011 Mercury Marquis....so I am curious about this.
Ha, I have a 92 and had planned on the pressure washer but not now, thanks.
I just bought a 2005 Town Car Signature and I've been loving your videos. What intake manifold is that? It looks awesome.

Use compressed air to blow the debris out. If you don't have one, use a straw and blow hard to get rid of the loose debris.
Cover the alternator, then use Armor All tire shine. Spray everything. And let it dry.
Is there a recommended garage or a mechanic that you'd recommend in the New England Area?
I own a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis
Ken’s Auto Repair In Billerica, MA is my go to panther platform guy
