You have an amazing collection. I’m looking to get my first Coleman lantern. I’ve been collecting Oil lanterns and want to get at least one of these for my collection.

The USFS lanterns are great (I own one), but the Canadian Pacific Railrod (CPR) lanterns made by Coleman are my favorite.
Many of them spent years and years traveling back and forth across the continent, which fascinates me for some reason.
For both of these "working" lanterns, every nick and dent tell a tale.

There are a couple of Canadian lanterns that weren’t made in the US that I think will be collectable. These are the “Signal” wide brim seafoam ventilator 327’s from the mid 30’s to early 40’s. They had a different collar than the standard 327. There was kerosene version of this model as well, and the 427K similar looking version called the “Mountie”Being Canadian made only makes them 1/10 the production numbers of the US, and only made for a few years makes them even more rare. There was also a green painted fount economy version that you don’t see often. Also the Canadian 220 & 228B with the stippled Coleman collar which isn’t that well represented. Sure there are many others as well.

Wow, You certainly gave me alot of homework 👍 Rare doesn’t always equate to collectible but Ill certainly research your recommendations. Living in Texas I dont see many Canadian versions.

The Terrence Marsh website Index Canadian Coleman lanterns 1921-1945 will have all of these examples.

Once everyone gives up on obtaining the USFS, CPR, and poultry lanterns these will be on the most wanted list.

@frozen6129 Terry Marsh website is my personal favorite source for GPA information. I have 13 items on his website
Look at the AGM USFS on his site….. thats me, You can see the lantern in my videos.
Back to the point Canada versions of interesting lanterns aren’t readily accessible here so Ive not researched them in detail ( Yet ) I appreciate your perspective and now I will find at least one.

There is a nice Canadian 220B on eBay currently and it is being sold in the US, should be interesting to see the ending price. I have a few things in Terry’s site as well but they are all stoves no lanterns. Any lanterns I have are already represented by others. A very good site.
