Coleman Lantern Restoration

Coleman USFS Lantern Restoration.
Very light cosmetic cleaning to preserve the original patina on this 1932 lantern.
New parts : Generator, Mica, Fuel cap gasket, Valve and pump leather. #colemanlantern

I tried to video lighting it…. it just appeared as white blob…… not sure how to video at night yet. Works as it should and I plan to use it often.

I don’t think I will find one of those in the plains of Texas but then again I found a 202 professional a few weeks ago,nice work….

Littlefield Texas to Austin Texas Ive found some great lanterns….. keep looking 👍

I have occasionally found great old lanterns and camp stoves at flea markets and antique malls.
And sometimes they haven't even been destroyed by someone "upscaling" them into a poor electric lamp.
