According to Eric Clapton, he once did a show where he was so drunk, he laid on his back on the stage, and had the mic next to his head, and did the entire show that way, and no one in the audience even cared, it was the early 70's. There was also a Hendrix show in Munich in 67, he had taken acid a few hours before the show, or maybe someone slipped it to him. All he could do was sit in a chair and laugh. They got him off stage after a few minutes.
tHANK YOU BROTHER;I AM A HUGE GERS FAN...He is an amazing musician not only a guitar player...Real musicians have true gentlemen behaviour;and besides Maiden is one of the most disciplined bands ever...
I'm sitting here trying to figure out where the Rock Stars are? Not one of these clowns is a rock star and their music, sounds like shit. Death Metal is cool to some degree. Mix in drink, pure shit.
You know.. it's not that easy to play in front of all these people, sometimes you need a little help, especially if you're really anxious.. I don't really think they were trying to be disrespectful at all. They just overdid it
And that is why I no longer drink! On a side note, it's clearly insane how as a society we embraced drinking as a right of passage and demonized pot. We had it all backwards.
Good on you, drinking can be extremely hard to quit. Weed shouldn't be taken lightly either, it can be extremely addictive just like any other psychoactive substance and it's definitely not good for your lungs to smoke/vaporize it. Neither should be demonized, people should know what they're getting into though, most weed's strength has quadrupled at the MINIMUM since the 80's and a lot of adults who used to get high underestimate modern pot's addictive potential.
Worst drug/drunk performance I have ever seen was Aerosmith back in the late 70s. Don't know if Tyler and Perry were dope sick or maybe drugged up and dope sick but it was sad. Perry could not play and Steven just was not there. On stage fighting,Perry walked off. Recently Perry apologized for that entire tour.
I never understood this. I’ve definitely been buzzed on stage but would never take it to the point of puking and falling over. It’s just weird and uncomfortable when bands do this.
They don’t plan to, it just happens sometimes. You plan on getting a buzz, but before you know it, you’re lit up. And the more you drink, the more you wanna drink.
I half expected this to mostly consist of Wes Scantlin moments lol I'm new to this channel so for all I know, he has his own dedicated video. 2:57 was hilarious...*mic to mouth for a scream, out comes *blarrgh* vomit, which likely wouldn't have sounded much different anyway. At first glance, thought the barely-standing guy with the Telecaster was Dean Ween too. lol Funny stuff, subbed.
2:05 security guard appears to be having a conversation with somebody off screen where he says "who? them? ohh drunk?" as he hand signals a drinking sign at the same moment the singer nearly blows chunks all over his back
I'd imagine that one of the worst nightmares or fever dreams would be that I'd have to perform on stage in front of people, but I can't even stand, the world is spinning, feeling nauseous and have no idea what I was supposed to do. I've seen dreams like where I'm playing in a set that I haven't practiced at all, but being drunk and a disgrace to my dignity on a top of that sounds horrible. I will never believe that some people would perform better wasted nor would I endorse such immature method of performing. If you need to be intoxicated to do your part in a working environment, the job isn't for you.
0:16 I don't like to play Devil's Advocate but Manson was actually NOT drunk here (even though he has a history of getting wasted and performing). He actually had the flu.
I call bullshit. If I‘d break down and vomit on stage I‘d also try to explain it away with the flu, but truth be told, 2012/13 was the time where Manson was nearly constantly drunk.
I wish you had the video of the guy from Buzzoven puking all over the stage, right after slamming some smack. As soon as he pukes, he immediately starts drinking alcohol, and keeps playing. Lol
Idiots like that ruined drinking on stage! The guy on before me was being a abusive drunk, and got slammed by a 120lb female security guard. After that we were restricted from alcohol on stage because employees can't be drinking. 'Workplace health and safety' 30 years of entertainment and that was a first! I wasn't even employed with the place. It was just a regular gig.
wow! you seriously had the nerve to put Janick Gers in this video? The guy is a part of the biggest and the best band in the world and has been a professional even before he joined in the late 80s. None of the boys even touch alcohol before the show. Please do your research before posting such things.
I went a couple of 100 times on stage. But its an unwritten law for me: Zero Alc/Drugs etc. before entering. And if Bandmembers was drunk, they got fired immediately
Hi fellas! Music that we used on our channel is finally live and have an Official Video! Check it now!

Where did you read about the Hendrix thing I can’t find anything about it?
@@bg3199 I’ve never heard that in my life, but that’s definitely what would happen to me if I tried to play while tripping.
if I was playing a telecaster in flip flops I'd get drunk too
I play a tele in vans

HAHAHAHAHA Jannick Gers is not drunk. That's just how he is on stage.
LOL I know right? I saw that and had a good laugh. To be fair, he does look drunk but he's certainly not!
he's the dancing maiden..lol
If he is that's the first time ever on stage in all the years with maiden I say fuck Ya go jannick and up the irons
True, but if you've never seen Maiden before, you could be forgiven for thinking that Janick was hammered. He does act quite daft onstage.
keefriff99 I wish morrissey would come out on stage like that I think that would be the best event in the world lol
00:54 Janick Gers is a professional and would never go on stage drunk. You have obviously never seen Iron Maiden live.
LOL, exactly. This is his regular strut.
***** lol "strut"

Who the fudge is that and when did he join Iron Maiden???
OneSober Guy only in about 1989
I think it's funny that more than half of them were trying and not giving up, that's dedication right there xD
it's pretty metal to vomit into the mic like that and keep on your feet.
Agreed
That metal "blergh!" at 2:58 is just beautiful. Almost poetic...

bruh i was dying laughing at that

What a dedicated musician! The show must go on! Much respect for that guy.
LOL LIKE A DRAGON

Can't be good for his vocal chords. Though his stomach acid may have been dilluted. I'm nit a professional, like him.

Yup, if you're going drunk on stage make it obvious and use that whiskey for your water! haha
That joke's getting old. Under almost every wasted perfomance of Manson there's at least one person who cant hold it but to state that he's just sick.
He is sick during whole his life
If you can't handle it, then don't drink it. Leave the drinking for the real metal guys.
but the things is most of "metal" singer went through this kind of period when they were out of control ..with the time you grow and learn

Dead City Rockets I believe that is Max Bemis from Say Anything.
Max Bemis from Say Anything. One of my personal favorite bands. He's recently ended the band though and I think it's for the best for his health.
4:27 song name ??
Some of these are epic wins.

I was the singer in a band in mid 90's. After 2 years I was basically fired because of alcoholism.

And that's why I always bring my own mic to gigs!

Whoever is that guitarist in that no name band needs some help
Was that 'The Decline'? in those early clips hell yea
Later on in the video it sounds like they’re playing “6 pack Girls”.
Nofx cover band?!
what song is in the first video??
Also, The band at about 2:54 talked about that show. The vocalist says he had eaten some food earlier that have given him food poisoning
What's the name of the band?
Manson puking on the beautiful people lmfao
This is why you drink/party AFTER the show kids.
that's just Janick being Janick
...and he rules
SO AWESOME.It's not rock and roll unless someone's puking
Where is my shoe *bam-bam-tam*
Great breakdown what I ever heard :)
do u know the band?
2:25 Weekend at Bernies

I remember my first beer.
who is the last one?
Oli Sykes
+Mowi Deathstep sadly yes glad he change 😂😂
So embarrassing. If you can’t drink, don’t drink, so easy it is.
2:57 that's a sick tune
I've fallen flat on my back piss drunk on stage before. Fuck it...that's what rock and roll is supposed to be.
no it isn't.
. Pansy.
i have no issue with shit performances if the ticket is free but if im paying big bucks for a ticket, i expect the artist to perform
is it Oliver sykes at the last vidéo ???
Marie Elise De Pauw yes
I wish you had the video of the guy from Buzzoven puking all over the stage, right after slamming some smack. As soon as he pukes, he immediately starts drinking alcohol, and keeps playing. Lol

Never saw Pink Floyd act like this. Worst thing was Roger spitting on a fan that threw a beer at him. It inspired "The Wall" I hear .
I GUARANTEE THAT JANICK GERS OF IRON MAIDEN WAS NOT DRUNK ON STAGE IN THIS VIDEO.
2:05 lol
Why is nobody talking about the first guy trying to play a 16 minute song?
