- Today in the workshop i used a 10 inch Ash Blank to make a not a dog bowl and add some colour with the Hampshire Sheen Intrinsic colour range, i turned it with Easy wood carbide cutters and my trusty Easy Wood Number one Hollower , Finished with Chestnuts products as always, which turned out really nice after the Yorkshire Girt and the Chestnut Microcrystalline wax was applied on the bottom, i used 2 coats and buffed to a nice shine also giving the bowl a nice protective finish , i finished the inside to 400 grit and finished with chestnuts microcrystalline wax, i then used the Hampshire Sheen Professional clear gloss lacquer and added 3 coats, as always this was turned on my Record Power Coronet Regent.
Turning Tools:
Easy Wood Mid size cutters
Easy Wood Mid Size #1 hollowerRecord
Power Cornet Regent
Trend Air Shield Pro
Products used:
Chestnut Products Cellulose sanding sealer , Microcrystalline wax.
Yorkshire Grit Original.
Hampshire Sheen Intrinsic colours, Professional clear gloss lacquer

Hi Doug the first one used was the Black and that was to penetrate into the grain, i then sanded that off and added the , Flame, Midnight Blue followed by the Ruby. they are fantastic colours to work with and this was first time i had used them🤣🤣
@@agkwoodworks3136 thank you. I have them and find they do a great job. Just didn’t see what you used. Great results.
@@DougMilleratWoodSpunRound I have been thinking of doing a longer form video that runs along side these ones , with a voice over but I’m not sure if they will go down well
