I have read all these before but because of the passage of time and my venerable age I lost enough of the details I thoroughly enjoyed hearing them all again. Thank you for your excellent rendition, as always.
Delightful, Tony. Captivating. Also on a warm, May afternoon. Love the vivid word-images, the accents, dialects. Miss, however, the commentary., but then there are those who use the stories for sleep. Dog Nico, for example. Thank you, Tony. As always, masterful.
Hi Tony, I can’t recall which recording it was but you mentioned that you were surprised by the popularity of the Christie, Marsh, Allingham, Sayers etc and wanted to share my view point in case it’s helpful. I grew up reading all these with my grandmother so they are comforting with just enough intellectual stimulation to help me distract my brain and sleep. I know I won’t wake up in the middle of some shocking act of violence with these ladies. I definitely read more modern too but not for sleep😅 (same with your ghost story channel) I really enjoy your voice and your observations (although I think I slept thru many before realizing you added that 😂). I think we’d have a great conversation (if I wasn’t half asleep!) I just postponed a UK trip but my hope is to explore the country thru the lens of some of my favorite authors and series - see Vera’s North, see Midsomer’s villages etc. maybe next year!
What a lovely treat. We are wending our way into Winter here in New Zealand and these are perfect, relaxing bedtime listening on cold frosty evenings. Thank you so much for these. 😊😊😊
Ok I’ve listened to The Last Seance twice, read reviews and still don’t get it. Someone said the second time the solution is foreshadowed. 🤷🏼♀️ I guess I’m extra obtuse today!
Brilliant! I have such a nasty migraine. Ice pack, dark room and Miss Marple sleep time ala Mr. Tomy Walker is very good medicine indeed!📚💊😁
get better soon
Hope you feel better soon

Incredible & Captivating
2 gifted storytellers, Agatha Christie and Tony Walker. Doesn't get any better than this. ❤️
Being bracketed with Dame Agatha is a great honour

You are a gifted reader. Thank you!
Goodness, Christmas has come early! My favourite writer read by Tony Walker. What more could one ask for?
Beautiful job, Tony. I really enjoyed these! For some reason The Blue Geranium always amuses me...one of my favorites.
I did! Sent to bed with paracetamol and a hot water bottle for an injured kneck, and I slept through at least 2 of the stories! Thank you! Deb 😊
Glad you're feeling better. Unfortunately, there is a pop quiz about the stories!😁
A Miss Marple mystery and stormy weather - excellent! Thank you!
The reader is brilliant- Thank you for making my listening time so pleasurable.
Oooh! I know what I'm listening to tonight!
Thanks!
Thank you 🙏

No, I agree; it’s defo the cosy that appeals to me too
Wonderful as usual, Tony! But if I may be permitted to say so, there should be some silence between the stories, no?
there should be. should i make it longer ?
@@classicdetective I think so
Woo hoo! Ta muchly!
Second time around here 😁❤
Lovely! But, why no Closed Captioning?
because you’re supposed to be asleep . also would i need to upload a text file ?
Thank you Tony, catching this at bedtime, early for me… thank you muchly!

I realise what you mean now. TH-cam generates those but it can take a few days so if you dip in early on, they aren't there. Maybe now?
The captions are available now.
I hear popping / crackling noises off and on during the last seance on the track itself.
ok. it’s an older recording. Is it mouth noise ? or
electrical ?
