I can understand the several complaints (especially about the abrupt and unwelcome interruptions of multiple ads), but as Joan Hickson is my favorite Miss Marple, I can see her in my mind’s eye and am very much enjoying hearing her in this reading.
Playing/acting Miss Marple is very different to reading the book. Far too slurred and gabbled and too indistinct with the different voices. Couldn't finish this, much as I enjoyed her portrayal on film.
Hardly. Perfect for the type of story. The woman who is reading was the best ever actress who played Miss Marple. Agatha Christie told her, when she was young, that she would love her to play, "my dear Miss Marple," in the future

Thankyou for posting.
I'm loving listening to Joan Hickson 😊
I have heard several versions of the story, also enjoyed this one so thankyou.

too many ads and interruptions!
TH-cam algorithm at fault
Where’s part 2?
Too much pointless chatter. The recording stopped halfway through. Just a waste of my time.
The reading is very boring
Ouch.🎭
