Awesome release, quite in contrast to NetBSD 10 and FreeBSD 14. Seems like OpenBSD is the last usable BSD left, especially on the desktop.
What is wrong with the others?
@@tehFozzeYSecond your question, eventough I only use OpenBSD of the BSD'S.
After the pain I've been having installing FreeBSD on a machine that OpenBSD runs well on, I'm inclined to agree about FreeBSD. Haven't given NetBSD 10 a fair shake to say one way or the other though.
To my experience FreeBSD is also quite a decent desktop OS. That is true when all the drivers are available of course
wdym ab freeBSD? you can get it running with a desktop env in less than 10 mins by just following the docs this is including the bsdinstall process. most cpus are using x86_64 ISA & that is widely supported by freeBSD. there are nvidia & amd gpu drivers available too. my only gripe with fbsd is the memory usage is wayy more than the linux systems ive used but i just customized the kernel mainly with regards to memory management and it works great now... oh yeah was also missing libc.so.7 which was a pain & i havent been able to solve it
Thanks for a good video about the best OS in history. There are a sea of Linux related videos being released daily, but none even mention OpenBSD.
BSD's have become the new niche, just like Linux was 15 years ago. Now Linux is increasing in popularity and BSD's are the "underground" community.
Also the pinsyscalls change is pretty cool. Thanks for the video!
Completely blown away⭐💫🌟✨💙
Exist support for soundcard Xonar DX in OpenBSD? Only for that soundcard i use linux u.u, but I prefer OpenBSD
But openbsd doesn't have lxmenu-data for pcmanfm
otter-browser is broken
no i3blocks, neither i3blocks-contrib
i really wanted to love openbsd but with the lack of tools to compile. it's better only for server than daily use
Give FreeBSD a shot. It should have most of what you need. In terms of ports, FreeBSD has more packages
Não mais, obrigado.
But j3sus is king of kings!
No doubt on that. But Jesus was above any kings
that comment coment is so dumb
