Hi bud I’m new to your channel I’m and relatively new to Cornwall and sea fishing although I’m shore based no boat for me and I’m primarily use lures and mainly LRF for small species Lures obviously has impact on my success rates but I do love it but you’ve certainly ignited my desire for small boat and to fish around Falmouth liked and subbed your living my dream sir regards Dave
That's brilliant Dave. Thanks for the Sub. As you’ve probably gathered I'm based up in Scotland but you’re in a great area for fishing. If you are thinking about getting a small boat then the Orkney Coastliner is worth a look. Hi Stephen, thanks for the comments. I've a few plans and ideas for attempting to catch Bass up here in Scotland. It'll be more of a challenge but something I'd like to try. I'm already dreaming of my 2024 trip back down to Cornwall. Other viewers have offered advice on where the larger Bass might be found. Weather permitting I'll hopefully have some better specimens to share in future. Thanks for your comments on a number of my videos. Much appreciated. Tight lines, Phil.
@@anotherangleUK ideal, I'm lucky I'm cornish and kayak fish these waters often and shore fish lots , weekly infact 😄. My most successful lures here are the savage gear sandeel v2 and bisque shad . But I find when fish are plentiful they will take anything lol. Enjoy your videos . Great adventures , tight lines
You'll catch bass all day long over St' Just to St 'Mawes side, go outside the lighthouse around the corner just off Zone point, much bigger bass to be had.
Glad you enjoyed the video. Just be aware of the Cornwall Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority regulations. You need to be outside of a line from St Mawes Castle to Carricknath Point. Also minimum size limits etc. 👍 I believe I saw a very nice boat from Cardiff Bay in St Mawes and wondered how she arrived there? If I see you we’ll have a chat about marks😜

Thanks, there’s actually a strong Easterly which has prevented me getting to the wrecks. But, I’m having a great time anyway, you work with what the weather gives you👍
Great we session there Phil, it the lure one of the Abu seekers? Certainly worked well for you. I’ve had some reports of bass being caught in the Clyde estuary too. Looking forward to your next outing, tight lines and stay safe out there👍👌

Yes mate, have towed it down to Cornwall four times now.
