Cornwall 2024 : Fishing Falmouth : Part 4 : Out on the Reef

- Reef fishing for a better stamp of fish. The weather pattern over the last week has been calm in the early morning and the wind picking up during the day to gusting 25 - 30 mph. Now that may not sound much but I can tell you it feels it out at sea on a fourteen footer.
So working with the weather means a quick trip out to the reef / rough grounds and then head back into the estuaries as the morning progresses.
Some nice fish are being caught however a few remain on the 'to catch' list.
Tight lines from me and a tail wag from Dee.

Great to see you back Phil. Looked like cracking weather for the most part and I got the same sense of calm and tranquility watching you as I do from watchjing Bob and Paul!!!..."and awaaaay!"
Thanks Dave, I'm going to have to mind "and awaaay" beacause they might claim copyright 😂😂😂
@@anotherangleUK Well I'd like think Bob and Paul wouldn't mind for a fishing channel! Maybe offer them an outing on the boat!
They'd be very welcome and great company no doubt.
Fantastic start to the morning Phil, just blissful. Nice few species to the list. Tight lines mate👍
Cracking session as always. Getting out early is the way to go. 👍
Great stuff, Captain! Each day is getting better and better on the fish which is the best way round to have it mate. Keep up the great work. Loved the different angles you used, really added depth to the video (and has gave me a boot up the jacksey to do mine better), well done. Top Man!
Thanks, it’s been picking up as the adventure has progressed. Thanks for the comments on the video angles etc. I’m trying to make things better. 👍
enjoying the cornish adventure keep up the good work

Ha ha. the Catch Mair Fash cloot is minging a bit after a couple of weeks use 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for looking out and anchor, we’ll have a chat when I’m back.
The Great Mackerel Escape was a hoot, as you saw I had a good laugh at that too.
Thanks for watching, commenting and all the support for the channel 👍
@@anotherangleUK Looking forward tae tge next episode 🎣🐟🐟
Lovely, as always
Cheers Tommo, I think Northerlies are the most awkward to hide from in the Fal. It’s not stopping me snag a few fish👍
nice video Phil well done, and to top it off you had some nice fish mate, Thank you,
Thanks James. The weather conditions have become better enabling me to get to better marks. Keep an eye out for the rest of the Cornwall 2024 Adventure.
NO FISH FOR SUPPER!!! BEANS AGAIN! My kind of sea conditions in the early part of the trip!!! CHEERS from HERE!
As I mentioned in the previous video Mrs Another Angle usually goes to the fish mongers if we are having fish for tea 😂
Cuckoo Wrasse ain't the biggest of the species you're getting, but certainly the most colourful. Wee stunners.
Thanks, yes agreed, the wrasse are quite something. I'm mindful to bring them up slowly to be sure they can be returned. Actually some of the smalle species like the gurnard bring the biggest smile to my face.
@@anotherangleUK Yes, another colourful, and exotic looking species.
I fish that area and lots of people like to show me their posh boats 😢
Thinking about it, they are coming to see our small fishing boats and dream of our fuel economy 😂😂😂😂🤭🤭
