Reviewing on You tube a new video of Russianna fills the heart with joy. Do not give up Mrs Anna, we cannot allow the events that happen to dig a furrow among the people of Europe. Beautiful this city, in its center and in its culture. Also magnificent is the cathedral with its dome with the "Christ Pancreator". Interesting that she showed us the most abandoned and degraded neighborhoods. Here it would take a "great investment plan for recovery" both of homes and public spaces. I confess that I do not understand much about this "Cossack" culture. In the kaleidoscope of the various nationalities that make up the Russian Federation, this of the Cossacks is difficult for me to define. Beautiful framing of the "flower in the bushes of flowers". Greetings from Tuscany, Italy.

Thank you for your new video with the many interesting sights and historical information from Novocherkassk. Unfortunately, there are still a few facades in need of renovation, but they also have their charm. The Neo-Byzantine Cathedral is breathtakingly beautiful. I hope you enjoyed the trip as much as I enjoyed your new video. 👍

Man the Don Regions are just FULL of people. I don't know what I expected but It was more like Huge open field Farms but instead there are 000s of settlements and almost countless towns of 100K ppl that even Russians have never heard of. Great to see them.

This is a well prepared and edited video about a city few people know about. It's very good how you report about the historic parts of Novotcherkassk, the well restaurated church as well as the killed workers and the old houses in the suburbs. I had no idea how a French architect would want to build a "little Paris" in this part of Russia.
The fun fact is, Ataman Platov on his horse went all the way to big Paris. He arrived first in Versailles, and visited the palace of the French Kings and Napoleon 😁 He had been riding from Novotcherkassk to Moscow and on to what today is the Kaliningrad region. From there he went south to Leipzig in Saxony. On the way to Paris he again fought many battles and liberated German and Swiss cities from French occupation.
He later accompanied Emperor Alexander to London. The City of London presented him with a golden sword and the University of Oxford conferred to him a honorary doctoral degree. Platov spent next couple of years at Novocherkassk, where he established a school and typography and ran the local administration.

Very nice of you adding such interesting facts. Yes, Ataman Platov was a very distinguished Cossack. Thank you!
