      Yes for sure, keep “vlogging “ great to see how the ordinary Russian live, not as reported by the many “narrative “ obsessed government and commercial media.

    Privet Anna, I am new to your channel and happy to find it. I am a big Russophile, read a lot of serious books, but I feel I miss out on simple, practical and daily life in Russia by focusing too much on the deeper readings. I absolutely love the silence and peace of Russian villages. I hope to learn more and also occassionaly interact here. Also, thinking about travelling again this year (travelled back in 2019). Peace and love!

    It's great to hear the impressions and opinions of your grandparents and to see how they live. Once I saw a journalist asking the older people in Moscow what the best time of living in the Soviet Union was, and the answer was the same as they said it was the early 1970s. Also, the local memories seem to go back to the time of the Tsar, or more than a hundred years 😃 I always like when people don't use slogans or make empty claims, but just say what it was and how it is today.

    Hurrah Russianna is back and continues to show us her "very wide" nation. The problem of abandoning the countryside and the mountains is a problem that exists, I believe, throughout Europe. Where there is no work, services, roads, young people leave and the elderly remain. The countryside is abandoned and nature regains the upper hand. What you show us in this video is what we might call "deep Russia".

    We also have kholodets in Serbia. I never liked it.

  • @fredianopellegrini9930
    @fredianopellegrini9930 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    However, I believe that these "elderly" even if isolated have a better life and income than pensioners living in the city. What I wonder is? Do they only regret their youth or was there also something positive in the Kholkoz system that could have been left in the 90th minute when you switched to the market economy? I have always thought that along with so many wrong things about "Sovietism" you have also thrown away some right things of "communism". But I'm certainly not sure.

    • @russianna7246
      @russianna7246  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Well, yeah, I think you're right about better life in the countryside. They grow a lot of stuff by themselves. As for the pensioners in the cities, a lot of them can only pay utility bills, almost no money is left for food, not mentioning new clothes. The amount of the pension depends on what jobs the peson had during his/her life. So if one had a position of a director, or was a military man, than his pension is quite good, and if he/she worked as a janitor or cleaner, then pension is a rough time for them. As for the Kolkhoz system and life back then, if you ask elder people, they would answer that they were happy. They worked hard, they received decent salaries and they were sure of their future. People's tought work was paid decently, comparing to today's reality. Also, their farms sent them to the paid resorts every year.
