Of all Angelina's renditions of Bohemian Rhapsody, this is the one I like the most, perhaps because of the atmosphere she created. Yes, this is technical, technical perfection to express feelings. I only hope that those around Angelina are looking after her emotional development as well.
Her agility and precision in those melismas make me shake my head in amazement every time I listen to this performance _(and it's been a fair few times the last couple of weeks)._ She seems to be capable of doing what ever she wants without hesitation. She's got such confidence and seems to be so relaxed; it looks like she's just there to enjoy the moment, and she shines like a star in the midnight sky, without asking how or why.

In just a few years her AGT performances have become flat out iconic. There is talent, which AGT showcases and then there is a gift from God that Angelina has and put on display for all to witness. This show never had a performance like this before and probably never will again.

I don't think I've ever seen a video where you wasn't able to pause and explain. I honestly think this performance is perfection. There isn't a single thing that could have been done better. I LOVE that she didn't go on a 'Got talent' belting session. She gave that one note and kept the rest understated, relaxed and Angelina Jordany. Angelina is a polished professional genius that has been wowing crowds since she was 6 years old. All of the professional voice teachers who have reacted to AJ over the years have been astonished at her abilities and find it difficult to describe her because they have never experienced anyone like her. If you view all of her performances you would be aware they are all at prodigy level.
i am surprised that this it the only reacted to one of her songs, she has so many great covers and some of her own stuff. Angelina wrote "Shield" and it is a greatis, she is referring to her parents and family watch out over her. also "I put a spell on you" is a classic.

Was waiting for you to react to this and since then she has teamed up with a duo from Norway called trxd .they hired Angelina Jordan to do the vocals on a song called Above the water. That is totally diffrent from What you have heard before and many of her fans got suprised when she did it but she doing amazing job on a new music genre for Angelina Jordan.
Every singer is inspired by someone they have heard. It's obvious Angelina's early years were exposed to jazz singers like Smith and Holliday. She has also taken in Jones and others but here's the difference. Above all the technical aspects of her singing is her ability to entrance her audience. This is charisma unleashed.

It is obvious that you are a true professional who understands the technical and artistic aspects of vocal music. After 40+ years as a music educator and jazz musician, I would say to all young singers: Don’t try to sing like Angelina, especially in the highest register, until you know how to do it. Take voice lessons and learn everything you can about vocal technique and artistic styling. If you try to do what she does before you know what you are doing, you could severely damage your voice and may never be able to sing again. Angelina has a gift that very, very few people in history have ever had. All of her physical vocal abilities and sense of musical style came with her at birth and because her family played music all the time as she was growing up. She is a force of nature. You can aspire to sing like her, but don’t push it. We would like to see and hear you on TH-cam someday!
I normally ignore and turn my nose up at covers until you see a Talent like Angelina, who can take a song change the entire structure and make it her own while maintaining the creative aspects of the original that made the song great to begin with. She lost to a person who had only a tiny percentage of her talent and to this day I'm stumped as to why. Literally the best old thing to happen to music in such a new way.
I have watched many vocal coaches doing reviews her and they have explained so many things that she is doing , yet there are STILL more things they can't explain or don't have time to. She learns so much from so many artists and mixes them without having to think about it. When her inspiration wants a sound, she just has it. I think there is NOTHING she can't do.
I recently can't across her concert with Alan Walker and the two songs she sings in the video are as perfect a presentation as I've ever seen during a live concert. Everything, orchestra, arrangement, sound quality and, of course, her singing. Absolute perfection!

I've been a musician for 43 years.
The first time I saw Angelina years ago, I immediately saw that there was a singer unlike anything I had ever seen.
For many reasons ....
1 Angelina has a unique voice texture.
2 Angelina was born with something that many mature singers would like to have, but cannot ... the emotion that she can convey when she sings.
3 Angelina is very young, but her behavior is that of a real lady.
4 Her image is very pleasant and moves everyone.
Summing up...
There are many words to define Angelina ...

My normal comments when I first subscribe to a Reactor featuring Angelina for the first time is to congratulate them on discovering her. However, it is obvious from your remarks that you have been aware of her for some time, which begs the question "Why haven't you reacted to her before?"
In my opinion, she is the most versatile singer living today and I hope that you will continue to react to her. I have listened to everything she has published on TH-cam and have often been surprised at her versatility - she can sing Blues, Country, Disco, Jazz,Pop, R&B and Soul, and Rock - but never disappointed by her performance.
For me, listening to Angelina perform is an emotional experience in itself. In an imaginative moment I likened her to a chameleon, inasmuch as a chameleon adapts its colour to blend with the surroundings, so Angelina adapts the "colour" of her voice to convey the emotions of the song and communicate those emotions to the listener.
In the six years she has been singing publicly she has covered Adele, Whitney Houston, Nancy and Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Lana del Ray, Gloria Gaynor, Elvis Priestly, Louis Armstrong and many others. She takes ownership of every song she sings while still paying respect to the original. She never goes into unnecessary theatrics. Never sings those high or low notes unless they are absolutely necessary. Never projects herself in any performance which says "look how good I am". She just sings the song as she feels it is meant to be sung. In life she is a very shy and humble girl. On stage she is transformed into the perfect vehicle for the song she has chosen to sing.
I follow a number of young singers through TH-cam and do so because their singing appeals to my emotions but good as they are and as much as I admire them, there is not one who can match Angelina's sheer ability and artistry in being able to sing so many musical genre in what appears to be an effortless manner,

Angelina is a polished professional genius that has been wowing crowds since she was 6 years old. All of the professional voice teachers who have reacted to AJ over the years have been astonished at her abilities and find it difficult to describe her because they have never experienced anyone like her. If you view all of her performances you would be aware they are all at prodigy level.

i am surprised that this it the only reacted to one of her songs, she has so many great covers and some of her own stuff. Angelina wrote "Shield" and it is a greatis, she is referring to her parents and family watch out over her. also "I put a spell on you" is a classic.

I have much respect for your analysis, I would love to do more Angelina, especially her age 12 How Great Thou Art where she sings almost the entire song in Elvis's original key! It is so interesting how she can comfortably sing at that low range at such a young age! It certainly helps explain why she can add so much warmth and weight to her singing!
Most likely the only singer on Earth at present that could have added so much to an already Great song like this one. Freddy heard this have no doubts, If it was possible to reach an Angel with just a voice Angelina is the one. Such vocal agility and purity she's taken many styles flipped them around and made her own unique sound which is refreshing.

Thank you for doing this reaction to Angelina Jordan. Was waiting for you to react to this and since then she has teamed up with a duo from Norway called trxd .they hired Angelina Jordan to do the vocals on a song called Above the water. That is totally diffrent from What you have heard before and many of her fans got suprised when she did it but she doing amazing job on a new music genre for Angelina Jordan.
Every singer is inspired by someone they have heard. It's obvious Angelina's early years were exposed to jazz singers like Smith and Holliday. She has also taken in Jones and others but here's the difference. Above all the technical aspects of her singing is her ability to entrance her audience. This is charisma unleashed.

Beth, thank you for your very insightful reaction to this Angelina Jordan performance. It is obvious that you are a true professional who understands the technical and artistic aspects of vocal music. After 40+ years as a music educator and jazz musician, I would say to all young singers: Don’t try to sing like Angelina, especially in the highest register, until you know how to do it. Take voice lessons and learn everything you can about vocal technique and artistic styling. If you try to do what she does before you know what you are doing, you could severely damage your voice and may never be able to sing again. Angelina has a gift that very, very few people in history have ever had. All of her physical vocal abilities and sense of musical style came with her at birth and because her family played music all the time as she was growing up. She is a force of nature. You can aspire to sing like her, but don’t push it. We would like to see and hear you on TH-cam someday!
I normally ignore and turn my nose up at covers until you see a Talent like Angelina, who can take a song change the entire structure and make it her own while maintaining the creative aspects of the original that made the song great to begin with. She lost to a person who had only a tiny percentage of her talent and to this day I'm stumped as to why. Literally the best old thing to happen to music in such a new way.
I have watched many vocal coaches doing reviews her and they have explained so many things that she is doing , yet there are STILL more things they can't explain or don't have time to. She learns so much from so many artists and mixes them without having to think about it. When her inspiration wants a sound, she just has it. I think there is NOTHING she can't do.
