Her arrangement of I Put A Spell on you as a tribute to Screaming Jay Hawkins at the age of 9, is unbelievably brilliant and totally dramatic. It's still my favourite from Angelina this is what you should check out after Gloomy Sunday At 6 and Fly Ne to the moon. So you can see where she has come from. This girl was born to sing the classics. Even though she writes songs as well
Angelina performed her originals Love Don’t Let Me Go, Million Miles, Now I’m the Fool, Diamond and Princess of Ruins and 15 other amazing songs for a total of 38 songs at her spectacular mesmerizing unforgettable performances at her Las Vegas concerts on Feb.29th. and please consider reacting to these concerts. Angelina has a treasure chest of masterpieces, but she must be experienced live to get the full effect of her greatness! The list of what Angelina has already been involved in is already so extensive that only a deep dive into her performances has to be searched online by yourself. It is too extreme to almost believe! All important people in the music industry know who she is and what she is good at on big occasions. I don't think anyone has the guts to suggest to her a fast track that doesn't suit her. Her integrity is too strong for that! - The remaining members of Queen allowed her to copyright her arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody! (Translated by Google) Today (18 years old) Angelina Jordan is no longer a talent, but a world-class singer! The Norwegian singer, now living in LA, is already an artist for the big occasions with e.g. The new FIFA World Cup's official anthem, in addition to several major performances. Angelina has been arranging and upgrading covers from 7-8 years old, she is known by her Angels as the barefoot Queen of jazz and soul, with a thousand different styles and voices she can sing any genre, Angelina has the best voice control and even from a child is a master of the lowest notes, she also has a unique silvery vibrato, Angelina has around 200 upgrades of covers and around 15 original songs, Angelina at present is working on new music with Grammy Award winner Toby Gad a music producer and songwriter, This video the first two little girls are Angelina’s cousins her uncle Mikes children, uncle Mike is also Angelina’s manager, the elder girl is Angelina’s sister Juliette, production input from Angelina’s grandmother Mery Zamani who is a famous artist and poet, the pianist in this rendition is two times Grammy Award winner Rob Christie the musical director of republic records who Angelina signed with at 14 years old, Angelina is paying tribute to Elvis with her black outfit and her Red guitar 🎸 and Pricilla Presley hair style, Cover of a Cover as the original artist Mark James who wrote and recorded Suspicious minds didn’t achieve with his original, then Elvis Covered the song and it was a hit, Angelina is a phenomenal talent I have to date attended four of Angelina’s live performances her stage presence is stunning her live vocals phenomenal, one for you to react to is Angelina’s own arrangement of ( I Put A Spell On You) black and white studio version when Angelina was 9 years old, all the vocal coaches and music teachers love to react to the song, Angelina is one of the best artists around today, reacting to Angelina at any age is mind blowing, great reaction thanks 🙏

Oh boy, you are going to be bombarded by her fans called Angels that will fill you in on this music prodigy with an old soul from Norway. She's basically been a star since she was 7 years old. First and foremost, she is a jazz singer but has the ability to sing any genre. She also does all of her own musical arrangements. Even though she has been compared by many to Amy Winehouse, her major influence is Billie Holiday. Other influences are Dinah Washington, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Etta James,Whitney Houston, and Adele to name a few. Her love of jazz came from her grandmother playing jazz music around her when she was young. In 2014, she entered at age 7 and won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8. With her new found fame, she used it to appear on many shows from abroad and help raise millions for the less fortunate children around the world. At age 13, she was invited to participate on America's Got Talent: The Champions in 2020. She shocked the audience and the judges with her rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. She received a standing ovation from all and got the Golden Buzzer from judge Heidi Klum to go straight to the Finals. Her performance went viral and even the group Queen responded on Twitter by saying, "Wow, what a rendition!" For Queen to respond to someone covering one of their songs is quite a feat since they rarely react to anyone. She did not win, but her fan base grew and expanded her popularity. Now 18 years old, living in Los Angeles, and currently signed with Republic Records, whose clients include Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, and Drake to name a few. Her family and Republic Records had agreed not to heavily promote her just yet so she can live as normal of a life as possible and finish her schooling. From what we know, she is finally done with school. She had a single that came out May 5th called Love Don't Let Me Go, a new EP called Old Enough that came out Friday, July 21st, 2023, a newly released video of her new song called Now I'm The Fool, and a new album of original music which will be coming out some time this year. Angelina released her new single, Our Time, and is fantastic! She returned back to Norway and performed at a number of sold out concerts in which fans from around the world came to see her. Many of the fans there said she sounded better live in person and was a once in a lifetime experience. On September 22, 2023, Angelina had her first U.S. concert that sold out in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. On December 11, 2023, she was asked to come back and perform at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert. She first performed at this prestigious event in 2014 when she was 8. On Feb.29th, 2024, she performed 2 shows on one night at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino. A film crew followed her and created a documentary of her called Angelina Jordan: 10 Years In The Making which premiered on her official TH-cam channel on March 29th, 2024. Her fans call her The Barefoot Princess. She always performs with no shoes when she sings. Why? The reason is very special. When she was 6 years old, she was traveling with her family in Iran where she met a poor shoeless girl in the streets that was about her age. She made money by weighing people. After speaking with her for a few minutes, Angelina noticed the scars on the girl's feet and asked the girl what her dream is. The girl said she wanted to be a doctor but she couldn't because she had to make money for her family. Angelina did what came natural to her, she gave the little girl her shoes and told her to not give up on her dreams. The girl then asked Angelina what her dreams were, Angelina answered that she wanted to sing for the whole world, and the girl said she would pray for her success. Since then, Angelina has performed barefoot in honor of that little girl and to those who are less fortunate around the world. She keeps this promise to this day. One of the reasons why we love her so much!
Very complete story of our Barefoot Princess... I never get tired of reading information about her when it is written with as much love and admiration as in this case... If you allow me, I would just add that in her recent concerts in Las Vegas ( I was There .. ¡¡¡ ) she released a new song precisely about her experience with the orphan girl she met when she was 6 years old and in her memory she wrote a beautiful song of empathy and love for another human being called "Princess Of Ruins". ..
Thank you guys for this first reaction to Angelina Jordan - I suspect it won't be your last; this is just a tiny tip of an amazing iceberg of work. Ten years of one incredible performance after another. She's incredible live. She's amazing in the studio. She's brilliant with just a guitarist in a living room. She can write. You, and we, are in for one amazing journey - in one sense, at 18, she's just getting started. In another - she's been doing this for a lifetime, and is only getting better.
Thanks Steve so much for this video from our Angel 😇❤ Angelina for "THIS NEW REACTORS" OF ANGELINA !! Great Support Steve my friend and fellow AJ ANGEL 😇😊👍👌👏 ! TAKE CARE AND HAVE A GREAT WEEK 👌💖✌️☮️ 😃 FROM BEAUTY SWITZERLAND 🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭 ROGER AKA RÖSCHU OUT 😊!
TH-cam did NOT allow me to post my comments on this wonderful video, so I hope by replying to Steve's comment will work. Richard and Johnny, thank you very much for reacting to my all time favorite musical artist, Angelina Jordan. I enjoyed your comments and analysis. I am confident you will love every step of your Angelina journey. I didn't pay attention to any new musical artists from the mid 80's until the start of the pandemic in 2020. Life was too busy. In March 2020, retired and spending most of the day at home, I started watching music videos on TH-cam, which, one night, recommended Angelina Jordan. The thumbnail showed a very young girl with big red flowers in her hair, singing "What a Difference a Day Make". I wondered, what was such a young girl doing singing an old jazz standard? That video changed my life. I watched every video of her I could find, which isn't easy, as they are scattered all over TH-cam (go to AJ Playlists by most2dot0 for easy access). I had lost 5 loved ones over the previous 3+ years, and didn't realize how much Angelina's music was affecting me emotionally, until her original "Million Miles" was released in November 2020. It was the first song I ever wept to. Looking back, I know that completed my grieving process and I am a much better man for it. I thank all the angels who educated me about this amazing human being who is blessed with remarkable talent. I have done my best to introduce Angelina and her music to thousands of people, both in real life and on TH-cam. Her wise and loving family have slow walked her career, allowing her to enjoy her childhood, while maturing and preparing to embrace the role of superstar that she was destined to become.
@@andyschnell58 yeah, mine too. Which I completely don't like censored comments section. Which means it's waiting validation to be shown. Oh well...next
She is one of the real future of music. She has one of the largest following on you tube ,I am subscribing and see if you follow more of this amazing artist
She’s been singing publicly since she was 7 years old check out her video of I put a spell on you age 9 or It’s a Man’s World age 12 and you will be blown away
I first saw Angelina Jordan when she was 7 or 8, singing "What A Difference A Day Makes" at the opening of TV2 and I've been in love with her since. You should check out her stuff when she was just a little girl and you'll be even more impressed.
Welcome to another rabbit hole lol. She does a cover of I Put a Spell On You at age 9 that will blow you away. In the video you can see her give notes to the music director. They also call her The Boss (I think that's right). She covers a lot of songs. Everything she sings she makes her own.
I had the same chuckle at that comment. Watching them discover "Spell", which was my mind and reality altering introduction to Angelina, should be quite the show.
You have come across the greatest Female singer in this generation and many to come. This is a direct nod to Elvis comeback Tour. The pianist is Rob Christy from Rebublic Records 2 time Grammy award winner, with whom Angelina is signed. This is an endless rabbit hole with Angelina, you ain't seen nothing yet, I'm in for your ride
lol. I can’t believe you haven’t see her yet. She is one of a kind. Wait til you hear her performances on Norway’s Got Talent at 7 years old. Her version of Summertime is still my favorite. So many amazing performances and the fact that she is involved in her own arrangements always surprises me. The Angels will flock and fill you in.
Guys, you ain’t seen nothing yet, she’s now 18 and one of the best vocalist on the planet. You have to listen to what she did at 9 yo with "I Put A Spell On You" and then you will understand why she was born to sing
For anybody new to Angelina, who wants to get to know her quickly, I created this playlist with 11 songs from age 7 to 17: 1. Gloomy Sunday, her 2013 audition to Norway's Got Talent, when she was 7, which was aired in 2014 and then immediatly went viral. 2. Fly Me to the Moon, live on The View, was her US debut later in 2014, and also went viral. It gathered more than 37 Million views on TH-cam, and many more on Facebook. 3. I Put a Spell On You, the song where Screamin' Jay Hawkins got his nickname from, has 11 Million Views so far. Her cover is closer to his original than most well known covers of it. She was 9 years old here. 4. Feeling Good, in a version sung on TV in 2016 while still being 10 years old, though she already started to perform the song in public about a year earlier. 5. A Million Years Ago, one of 13 Adele covers she did, as an impressive acoustic home studio recording. 6. Shield, from 2018, was the third original she relased that year at 12 years old. It is about the protection and support she gets from her family. 7. Bohemian Rhapsody, in her own stripped down arrangement on AGT the Champions Season 2, wowed everyone, including the group Queen themselves, who twittered "Wow, what a performance of Bohemian Rhapsody!" 8. Million Miles, which she wrote and produced together with Stargate, is about the loss of a close person (her grandfather), and was the first song she released 2020 with Republic Records. 9. 7th Heaven, her 2nd song with RR from 2021, is encouraging people to persue their dreams, like she did. 10. Suspicious Minds, done 2022, is an Elvis cover as unique as Bohemian Rhapsody was. 11. Love Don't Let Me Go, her third release with Republic Records, and the first new song on her recently released EP "Old Enough" of total 6 new original songs. She cites Billie Holiday as her biggest influence. And she covered more songs from Adele than by any other artist, followed by Amy Winehouse, Elvis, and Sam Smith.
@@jf-be4zy Lately her colab with Toby Gad with "if I were a boy" that he co-wrote which Beyoncé made famous and the new song they are working on "Bad Valentine"
@@jf-be4zy From James Thiel's Channel, a Tribute to The Noble Peace Prize, "Unchained Melody". You get why Angelina, about the Recipient and why this specific song and why she made this arrangement, God Bless!
@@jf-be4zy I was given that suggestion before, but it doesn't fit, as this list aims for about one title per year. And I also prefer to showcase her originals over her covers. So that's why I waited up to now with assigning the 12th spot. I actually contemplated this morning whether to include Bad Valentine next, and I think that's likely to happen soon.
Angelina Jordan's unique voice and soulful performances have indeed captivated audiences worldwide. From her viral audition on Norway's Got Talent to her mesmerizing covers and original songs, she has showcased an exceptional talent that transcends her young age. Her ability to infuse jazz-pop with a personal touch, drawing lyrics from her own experiences, has earned her a place on some of the world's biggest stages. With a growing fan base and a collection of music that speaks to the heart, Angelina Jordan continues to shine as a beacon of musical artistry for many to admire and enjoy. Very soon she be known as a once in a thousand-year talent.
I gotta say, don't just go forward - go back to when she was 10, 11, 12, or even 7, 8 or 9. She already has over 200 songs on video and they are all amazing. I'm so glad you have found her. Now all I can say is . . . MORE ANGELINA!
Gentlemen, welcome to the world of Miss Angelina Jordan. Her mother discovered her singing Whitney Houston at age 1,5. She discovered Jazz at around 2 and decided to practice her craft almost daily for hours at the ripe old age of 3,5. She herself said, that Music found her, not the other way around, and that she is obsessed with music. You will find those comments by her in her documentary "10 years in the making". Nowadays she resides in LA Ca. with her family. Her nickname among musicians is THE BOSS, especially in Scandinavia. Her instinct for music is uncanny. Gents, be safe and sound. Elmar from Germany
❤ For me the most impressive performances of AJ are her interpretation of I feel good, live performance at age 10 (because of the interpretation), the Bohemian rhapsody (because of the arrangement) on Agt at age 13 and a short tiktok video of House of the raising sun.... hope to see more Angelina reactions from you.
Synopsis: a.k.a. the Barefoot Princess - winner of Norway's Got Talent at 8 y.o. (auditioned at 7 with Gloomy Sunday a Billie Holiday cover) - contestant on AGT Champions 2 - 2019 at 13 (audition with Bohemian Rhapsody) - just had her 1st Las Vegas concert on Feb 9th 2024 at age 18. Youngest published author in Norway depicting her encounter with an orphan Middle Eastern girl who was barefoot and gave the orphan her shoes and vowed to performance barefoot for as long as there children in need. Born in Oslo, Norway maternal grandmother Merly Zumani is Iranian and is her greatest influence in music, maternal grandfather is Japanese, father is Swedish and mother Sara (I guess is Iranian and Japanese). She has been performing for 10 years and has over 67+ covers (from Google) 5 originals before the age of 12 and several current originals (8?), signed with Republic Records in 2020.
Yes her Iranian heritage made her performance at lasts year’s Nobel Peace Prize recipient tribute concert all the more meaningful as the recipient was an Iranian woman activist who was imprisoned for fighting for women’s rights.
You guys should check out her performance of “unchained melody” at the Nobel peace prize! Everyone thinks of that song as the Righteous Brothers love song from the 60’s when in reality it was a song from the movie “Unchained” from 1955 about a prisoner wanting to escape from a new type of minimum security prison in Chino, California. Angelina who was 17 at the time, was singing in front of the twin children whos mother has been locked away in an Iran prison because of her continued protests for women’s rights. The twins, also about Angelina’s age, have given up hope of ever seeing their mother again, as she was sentenced to I believe 35 yrs and several dozen lashes for her continued protests trying to improve life in Iran for her children and others. Some have suggested Angelina’s performance was somewhat restrained, not realizing the weight of the ceremony at which she was performing. After that, you’ll only have about two hundred more covers to react to before getting around to her current releases that are unparalleled!
How to transform a very good song to a masterpiece. Every detail is perfection. Angelina Jordan is the best artist of our time. Slowly but surely, more and more people are knowing this fact. Lucky we are to have Angelina Jordan, being part of our life.
You guys have just stumbled on another force of nature, like Lara and Dimash. Since she just turned 18 in January, she is at the beginning of her journey, and so are you. She has a lot of covers, from Whitney Houston to, of course, Elvis. She specializes in jazz like Billie Holliday, Ella Fitzgerald and Shirley Bassey. She also has a number of original songs like Seventh Heaven, and Million Miles which sound like they were written by a teenager....sort of like Mozart.
One thing you have to remember with Angelina is that she is constantly reinventing so don't have any expectations when you see that she is going to sinng a song that you know you have just discovered a rarety in the musical world welcome to the unique world of Angelina Jordan, to give you an idea of her talent she started singing at 18 months a song by Whitney Houston . Welcome abord.
Angelina at 13 radically changed Bohemian Rhapsody live on AGT. Queen themselves, loved it and gave her the copyrights to her version. How often does Queen do that? She also owns "BangBang" at 8 yrs old. Breathtaking and arguably the best version ever recorded.
Welcome to Angelina’s word. She’s singing since she’s one and a half years old. English is not her first language and she can speak 3-4 languages and play 3 or 4 instruments. She does her own arrangements of her covers and compose her original songs. She’s a music genius. Her grandmother, who is a famous painter, has introduced her, when she was very little, to the jazz word. So she could learn from the biggest jazz singer. She’s an old soul. There’s a beautiful story behind why she sings barefoot. She is not only, for me and for many others , the best actual female vocalist but also a great human being. Please continue with the Angelina’s reactions. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 New suscriber here.
If you think she shows exceptional vocal maturity for a 16 year old, you should observe it when she was 7, singing Billie Holiday's "Gloomy Sunday" and for the other 200+ songs she has out on TH-cam.
Every time I see someone react to Angelina for the first time, I think about what song I could suggest next... and I immediately have 20-30 songs in my head. Now I think it doesn't matter. She has over 200 covers and originals on YT. You could pick a song at random and it would blow you away, no matter if she is 6 or 18 years old. There is no disappointment
I´m excited to see and hear your reaction to Angelina. I´m following her way for a couple of years now and I love her musicality, her voice, her interpretations... 😍
I am so jealous, that you guys are just discovering the wonder, that is Angelina Jordan!!! You are truly in for the ride of your life 😊 I am often at a loss for words, when trying to describe Angelina Jordan's voice, or what genre she fits in, & I have accepted, she does not fit in any category, or genre, & is simply in league all of her own.....❤ 💚 💜 Every time I hear Angelina sing, I picture her stepping out of an old black & white movie, to transport us back in time, so we can fall in love with these genuine masterpieces again!
THANKS for a great reaction. Now, one of you said “adult since 6“. I simply have to challenge you to check out her six year old version of I WHO HAVE NOTHING or 12 year old IT’S A MAN’S WORLD. Have fun!
Elvis's version of Suspicious Minds was a song, but Angelina Jordan's version is a tale told by the greatest storytelling signature vocalist of the time. Some songs are just covers, but others are reawakening's. Angelina Jordan's version of Suspicious Minds is more than a tribute to Elvis Presley, it is a narrative that captivates and immerses the audience in a world of doubt and betrayal. She uses her voice as a tool to craft a spell that makes the listener feel every emotion and nuance of the lyrics. Her rendition is not just a song, it is a story that becomes real to the listener.
Most people don’t realize that Pandora had a sister. You just opened up the sister’s box of musical wonders! From age 18 Months old to now 18 Years old Angelina is a one in a billion musical phenom!
I don't understand how you both can be in the music industry and have not heard Angelina before. Her audition for the 2014 season of Norway's Got Talent at the age of seven, a completely incredible version of "Gloomy Sunday", went viral and brought her international attention. She went on to win the show with a performance of George Gershwin's "Summertime". When she was 13 she was invited to be on America's Got Talent Champions and she brought the house down with every performance. She was obviously born to sing!
Love it, your comment "The depth of maturity in her delivery at 16 is insane" My granddaughter from the kitchen "Then you don't want to hear her at 6 you will lose your mind". LMAO She is referring to the song she loves most "I who have nothing" covered by Angelina at just 6 years old.
Very beautiful reaction, thanks guys. From the very first words, the warmth, tone, passion and sweetness that Angelina manages to instill in this mythical song are truly incredible, you just wish the song was much longer. Her phrasing, backed by her wonderful use of breath and her peculiar jazz tone, always fascinates me and gives me chills every time, I love this absolutely amazing, so personal rewrite of this iconic song, with so many Elvis tribute details. Now it's a different song, but it's also the same, it still has that harmony, but somehow (in a way only Angelina can process) it's even more emotional, it's slower, but it's so close to your soul flow that kidnaps you. I went to that concert in Norway, the first after the lockdown, and she was fantastic, 19 songs that filled the stage with wonderful emotions.💛🧡❤
Human interest fact: The whitehaired tall gentleman in the video of the concert in Norway, is Robert Carlson and he passed away Aug 21st of 22, as we say goodbye to Robert, he got to enjoy two of the three concerts in Norway that Angelina Jordan put on, and if you have to go, what a way to go. We wish him a safe, and pleasant journey. I am sure he will be up there following AJ through eternity.Robert Carlson's passion for music and his fondness for Angelina Jordan's concerts in Norway are a touching testament to the joy and solace that music can bring to our lives. His presence at two of her three performances signifies a beautiful connection between an artist and a fan, a shared moment in time that transcends the ordinary. As we reflect on Robert's life and his departure, it's comforting to imagine him continuing to enjoy the melodies and harmonies that once brought him happiness, in a place where the music never ends. His journey reminds us to cherish the experiences that bring us joy, and to celebrate the ways in which art can touch our souls.
You guys are AWESOME!! Thank you Angels for all of the info on Angelina, we are going to take your collective advice and go back to see her perform "I Put A Spell On You" at age 9 for our next reaction. Please give us a some time to catch up on other commitments first - thanks for your patience! We can't wait to hear and learn more about this very special artist!!!
I can't wait to see your reaction to Angelina's "I Put a Spell on You" - that was the first song of hers that I saw and I was almost instantly hooked... that was a few years ago and I am still hooked...
Yes. This is 'the next logical step' in your 'Angelina journey'. When you see what she could do vocally, and 'performance-wise' aged 9, it has a lot of explanatory power. Not to mention her winning Norway's Got Talent aged 7! And then her version of Bohemian Rhapsody aged 13 on AGT is another Masterclass in skill and innovation. In addition to making many great songs TOTALLY her own, she also composes her own. She truly is an artist deserving of the desciption;'an international treeasure'. Enjoy.
I didn't quite catch this live but I really enjoyed it.... great to see your real appreciation of my favourite singer :) There is so much more to discover - she recently put out a little video documentary (produced by her Mum Sara) of her "first 10 years"... she has been performing publically (and brilliantly ) from the age of 7 when she first auditioned on Norway's Got Talent, which she won at 8.... So many wonderful performances, some live, some at home, some in a studio... She has recently started collaborating with Toby Gad, known for writing many very successful songs with top artists, and has put out a great cover of If I Were a Boy, and they are writing original songs together - one that is on YT but not officially released, Bad Valentine, is brilliant and really showcases her amazing vocal abilities...
Yes, please! You could find the original song “Bad Valentine “ in the channel from James Thiel. He got the permission of Toby Gad to put it on TH-cam. Oficial song will come out in a few months.
I stumbled on Angelina over 6 years ago when she was 12 & I couldn't believe my ears. Her vocals are mesmerizing & calming & I have listened to her every day since then. Every time I go back to singers & used to listen to, I find them boring & lacking whatever it is that Angelina has that they don't. She was a "Child Prodigy" from 7-10 yo, but by 10 she had a completely "adult" voice that can be favorably compared to great adult professionals. By 14 she was a fully developed vocal artist that was on the same level as some of the best vocalists of all time. Now at 18 she is the female GOAT, as far as I'm concerned & I've never seen anything like her in my 76 years. I liked & subscribed for more reactions to her in the future. You won't be disappointed.
A barefoot princess with a hypnotic voice. As usual, a vocal master piece. Born Angelina Jordan Astar on January 10, 2006 in Oslo, Norway to her Norwegian mother, Sara Astar and her Swedish father, Gerry Christian Slattman. Angelina started singing around 18 months of age, after listening to Whitney Houston on TH-cam. She quickly became obsessed with listening to music videos and her maternal grandmother, Mery Zamani got Angelina interested in classic jazz. Mery Zamani is Iranian and was a prodigy as an artist and poet while growing up in Iran. Angelina attended the Oslo Waldorf School and participated in the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts after-school program, where starting around age 4, she had training in music but no vocal training. Her teachers were smart enough to not attempt to change what she was doing vocally. More recently she along with her grandmother have designed and made the clothing she wears on stage. Why Angelina always performs barefoot At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. PLEASE PURCHASE Angelina’s book from her merchandise store on her official website, angelinajordanofficial Angelina, at age 6 and 7, did record a few songs in a recording studio at her school, most notably “I Who Have Nothing”, a truly remarkable performance for a 7 year old. At age 7, Angelina’s audition on Norway’s Got Talent, was a cover of Billie Holiday’s “Gloomy Sunday”, a song which was banned by a number of European countries during World War II because authorities worried the song would increase the suicide rate. Truly bizarre that this is the song to launch the career of a child musical prodigy. One of the judges on NGT cried. Angelina had turned 8 years old for her next performance on NGT, covering Billie Holiday’s “I’m a Fool to Want You” singing acapella which was required by NGT unless the singer also played an instrument while singing. This was the Judge’s cut round of the competition and was not performed in front of an audience. In the Semi Final round of NGT, Angelina sang “Bang Bang” which was written by Sonny Bono and was first performed by his wife Cher but is best known sung by Nancy Sinatra. The improvement in each performance is incredible even though there were only a couple months between them. In the Finals, Angelina did a cover of George Gershwin’s, “Summertime” and won the contest, capturing 46% of the votes from the ten finalists. When asked what she would like to do with the prize money she won (500,000 kroner or about $80,000), Angelina replied, “I want to give it to the poor children”. Angelina had become a star in her native Norway and her videos on TH-cam went viral. She gave a few concerts during the summer of 2014 while 8 years old. In December 2014, Angelina realized a life-long desire to sing at the Save the Children's Peace Prize Celebration which is part of the Noble Peace Prize celebration. Angelina’s family took her to United States, Brazil, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Russia, South Korea, Singapore among other corners of Earth, to perform for heads of state and to help raise money for charity. All before Angelina turned 14. At age 9, Angelina recorded a music video covering the 1956 Jay Hawkin’s classic, “I Put a Spell On You”. The video begins by showing Angelina writing her “wishes” for how she wants to perform the song. Angelina has always created her own arrangements for her cover songs. At age 10 and just a week before her 11th birthday, Angelina recorded a demo of “I’m Still Holding Out for You”. Her family never pursued having that recording officially released but someone leaked it on a TH-cam video. Thankfully, everyone involved with that song is now ok with the leaked version. Many angels (fans) believe this is one of Angelina’s best performances. When Angelina was 11, she performed a number of concerts in Norway with a jazz/rock band. Those concerts included up to 14 songs, each remarkably performed. Angelina seems to be at her best when on stage, never nervous, only 100% confident. Also at age 11, Angelina recorded her “It’s Magic” album which has, at times, been in the top 10 best selling jazz albums. On June 27, 2018, at age 12, Jordan performed Frank Sinatra “Fly Me to the Moon” for Quincy Jones in The O2 Arena in London. She has said that was the high point of her young career which was already in it’s 6th year. During 2018, Angelina lost her paternal grandfather, her friend Avicii and one of her idols, Aretha Franklin. She did a moving tribute for each. In 2019, Angelina accepted an invitation to compete in the 2nd season of America’s Got Talent (AGT), The Champions. She had, since age 3, wanted to perform for Simon Cowell and she earned his praise with her genius arrangement of “Bohemian Rhapsody”. The surviving members of Queen loved it so much they put a link to it on their Twitter. Angelina was eliminated after covering Elton John’s “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road”. Angelina’s family refused to sign any agreement with AGT. Angelina, before age 14, had covered more than 130 songs from 80 different artists, spanning at least 8 genres, all of which are available on TH-cam. Angelina has always made changes to each song she covers and often her version is preferred over the original. On TH-cam, search on The Complete Works of Angelina Jordan as Rusty Shackleford has put all songs in one file and has a complete playlist in the description of that video. The pandemic hit shortly after her performances on AGT and likely caused a change of plans by her family, most notably her Uncle Michael who is her manager. Her family agreed to a contract with Republic Records in August 2020. Republic Records declared Angelina Jordan their highest priority new artist. Reportedly her family requested Republic to allow her as normal a childhood as possible and therefore have yet to fully promote her. During the pandemic, Angelina was often seen buying meals for the homeless on the streets of Los Angeles. In November 2020, Angelina released “Million Miles” which she wrote after the passing of her beloved maternal grandfather. She dedicated the song to anyone who has ever lost a loved one. Angelina had previously released, 3 other original songs: “What is Life”, “Oslo” and “Shield” In April 2021, her original “7th Heaven” was released. A jazzy, danceable, inspiring song. Angelina has posted numerous short performances on Tik Tok and Instagram. Angelina had concerts in Norway in July 2022. In December 2022, Angelina performed at the Asian American Awards in Los Angeles. On 2/27/23, Angelina performed at the FIFA Awards ceremony in Paris, France, with a viewing audience in the millions. On May 5th, 2023, Angelina released her original "Love Don't Let Me Go". On July 23th she released her orginal EP “Old Enough”. Angelina perform Concert at the Music Hall in Portsmouth New Hampshire on Sept 22nd, 2023. It Was a great concert, who was not and could regret it, a big mistake. On 10/27/23 she released her new orginal singiel “Our Time”. In November 2023, she was presented as a debutante at Le Bal des débutantes in Paris. On 12/08/23 she released new Marry Christmas EP “Driving Home for Christmas”. On 12/10/23 she sing in Oslo at the Nobel Peace Prize Celebration - Unchained Melody tribute to 2023 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Iranian human rights activist Narges Mohammadi. On february 29, 2024 she had two concerts in Las Vegas, Nevada,on the Elvis stage.
Angelina is completely self taught and has been singing since she was 1 and a 1/2 years old! Angelina is from Norway and speaks Norwegian. She speaks several languages and English is her third language. Angelina plays piano, guitar, violin and the flute.
No. She went to music school from a young age and had good teachers. They saw the potential. Doing put a spell at 9 can easily destroy a voice, done with care.
Her Grandma, Mery Zamani, helped produced this. She used the same store (Melrose Gallery in L.A.) she used for her My Funny Valentine and I Have Nothing videos. Her sister Juliette was the older girl and the 2 younger girls are her Uncle Mike's kids, Aires and Athena. 2- time Grammy winner Rob Christie is on piano. He is also the music director of Republic Records, the music company she is signed with and who has taken her under his wing. Republic even built her her own studio. The beehive hairstyle was to honor Priscilla Presley and the time period she met Elvis. The black suit and red guitar was a classic look for Elvis from his comeback concert. What a performance and homage to The King! She is the only one in her family that sings. Her Grandma, Mery Zamani, is a famous Iranian poet and painter and her mother Sara has said Angelina probably got her artistic talent from her Mery.
Angelina has been performing in front of audiences and for people like Quincy Jones since she was 7 years old. Her vocal maturity is astounding. Listen more, and happily go down the rabbit hole.
I saw her live in Norway 3 days later and she sounds better live than recorded. You get to hear nuances lost in production. I voted her win in NGT 2014 as i immediately heard that here is a special artist. Enjoy boys and you will be amazed by any songs when you realize how young she did them. Over 200 (good) cover songs, released more than 15 originals(over 100 written). The world need to hear her. Love from Norway!
Welcome to the amazing world of Angelina Jordan. You will not be disappointed and will be blown away many times if you go down the rabbit hole. As with most young artists she began with covers and most of the comments will refer to the great covers she has done but I don’t think Angelina sees herself as a cover artist. She has been writing songs since she was 10 and says she has written over 100 songs. 12 originals have been recorded and released to date. 2 more have been performed live only so far. FYI, her original Our Time is being used by the financial company SoFi for a national TV ad.
The metamorphosis of AJ Angelina Jordan's evolution from a child prodigy to a full-grown artist is a testament to her enduring talent and the natural progression of life. It's not uncommon for fans to feel nostalgic about artists they've followed since childhood, but growth and change are intrinsic to the human experience. As Angelina transitions into adulthood, her style and presentation may change, but what remains constant is her unique voice that continues to captivate audiences worldwide. Her journey reflects the transformation every artist undergoes, adapting and maturing both personally and professionally. This metamorphosis often brings a deeper, more resonant voice and a presence that resonates with both the innocence of youth and the wisdom of experience. Angelina's ability to maintain her signature sound while enhancing it with the strength of adulthood is what makes her a true phenomenon in the music industry. PS. If anyone questions her abilities as an adult, all one has to do is experience her performance in Dec. of 2023 at the Nobel Peace Prize on Oslo, Norway when she performed the most exquisite performance in my lifetime of Unchained Melody with the KORK Orchestra, no one on earth could have performed it better.

Even though she writes songs as well
Start at the beginning @ age 8 when she won Norway's Got Talent, then age 9 I Put a Spell On You.......etc.
I follow a lot of young singers. Angelina is without exception the most unique and best.

❤❤❤❤
The Norwegian singer, Angelina Jordan is a young legend. now living in LA, Angelina Jordan (curent 18 Yeats old ). She is an elegant artist for the big occasions. Which artist has sung for the Nobel Peace Prize twice, and she sings FIFA's official song before the upcoming World Cup. She has sung for 40,000 in concert with Nora Jones. She has helped to collect 21 million for children in need. Performed for many countries' heads of state on many big occasions. Concert in Las Vegas, with a number of other live concerts. Signed record deal with "Republic Records" at only 14 years old. The list is almost endless ... She is so talented that no one can ignore her, and together with Rebpublic Records, she actually sets the pace herself to total worldfame . Although she herself is an 18-year-old young lady, her taste in music is quality, and not just high bass in the stomach. When the next James Bond film is to be made, who do you think is in the spotlight for a possible theme song? The list of what Angelina has already been involved in is already so extensive that only a deep dive into her performances has to be searched online by yourself. It is too extreme to almost believe!
All important people in the music industry know who she is and what she is good at on big occasions. I don't think anyone has the guts to suggest to her a fast track that doesn't suit her. Her integrity is too strong for that! - The remaining members of Queen allowed her to copyright her arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody!

Today (18 years old) Angelina Jordan is no longer a talent, but a world-class singer!
The Norwegian singer, now living in LA, is already an artist for the big occasions with e.g. The new FIFA World Cup's official anthem, in addition to several major performances. Like few artists, she has performed for the Nobel Peace Prize at the age of 8 and 17. And 2 shows in Las Vegas ... She is 18 today. 250 songs both covers and original to listen to! She has had many live performances. She was signed to Republic Records at age 14!
Angilina opened the show for Nora Jones in front of over 40,000 fans when she was around 10 years old. She stole the show. 😎🇺🇲👍💯🌟

Hopefully you two will do some research on your own,and not wait for comments (yet those two are’spot on’) I also suggest you do “I Put A Spell On You “( but first refresh your selves, about the original version by Jay Hawkins) HAPPY TIMES DISCOVERING ANGELA JORDAN 🎉 ❤ 😊
¡¡¡ ) she released a new song precisely about her experience with the orphan girl she met when she was 6 years old and in her memory she wrote a beautiful song of empathy and love for another human being called "Princess Of Ruins". ..
You should mention she also can sing in many different styles, she does the best Dinah Washington I have ever heard outside the original artist.
Add Shirley Bassey, Matt Monro Whitney Houston and others!
Everyone should be listening to Angelina Jordan. She is a genius signing from the age of 18 months. Best female singer on the planet.
Thanks Steve for helping to get this channel to react to Angelina.
Angelina Jordan is an amazing talent. She's been knocking people sideways since she was seven (?) years old!
She’s been singing publicly since she was 7 years old check out her video of I put a spell on you age 9 or It’s a Man’s World age 12 and you will be blown away
As others have said, Angelina doesn't just cover songs, she uncovers them...
She also was on America’s Got Talent. She did a rendition of Elton John’s Yellow Brick Road and Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody that was fantastic.
Agreeeeeee ❤
Depth of maturity! Lordy guys you should hear her at 8!
I had the same chuckle at that comment. Watching them discover "Spell", which was my mind and reality altering introduction to Angelina, should be quite the show.
At 7 she sang Billy Holiday's Gloomy Sunday at Norway's got talent and won!!! Didn't matter if a few teeth were missing! Mind-blowing performance❤🎯🇿🇦
I love her Summertime performance!
She was born with this deep, smoky voice. Listen to her at age 6. She didn't come by it with lessons.
Guys, you ain’t seen nothing yet, she’s now 18 and one of the best vocalist on the planet. You have to listen to what she did at 9 yo with "I Put A Spell On You" and then you will understand why she was born to sing
For anybody new to Angelina, who wants to get to know her quickly, I created this playlist with 11 songs from age 7 to 17:
7. Bohemian Rhapsody, in her own stripped down arrangement on AGT the Champions Season 2, wowed everyone, including the group Queen themselves, who twittered "Wow, what a performance of Bohemian Rhapsody!"
No. 12 has to be her cover of Unchained Melody with KORK at the Nobel Peace Prize.
I actually contemplated this morning whether to include Bad Valentine next, and I think that's likely to happen soon.
.. and six super songs from the EP ..🤩
And just like that, the most profound musical prodigy on the planet has entered your life. Enjoy the journey guys.
Angelina Jordan's unique voice and soulful performances have indeed captivated audiences worldwide. From her viral audition on Norway's Got Talent to her mesmerizing covers and original songs, she has showcased an exceptional talent that transcends her young age. Over 4 Billion Views On Facebook
Over 1.8 Billion Views on TH-cam as of Feb 20, 2023 Angelina Jordan is taking the universe by storm.
I gotta say, don't just go forward - go back to when she was 10, 11, 12, or even 7, 8 or 9. She already has over 200 songs on video and they are all amazing. I'm so glad you have found her. Now all I can say is . . . MORE ANGELINA!
Agree! They need to go back
Gentlemen, welcome to the world of Miss Angelina Jordan.
Wow! A 22 minute reaction, and not long enough!
You have 12 years of her amazing talent to catch up on.
They better start cracking then. 😂
Yes!! Can't wait to see how you like this diamond ❤

@@farahdormanesh4690 Sara, Merly & AJ were visiting the Middle East when AJ encountered the orphan girl without shoes when AJ was 6 (I believe).
Everyone thinks of that song as the Righteous Brothers love song from the 60’s when in reality it was a song from the movie “Unchained” from 1955 about a prisoner wanting to escape from a new type of minimum security prison in
Chino, California.
I heard also, although this may be incorrect, that she turned down a record deal with Simon Cowell?!
Angelina has been active in the music industry for a decade, that’s why she has the maturity that you observe.
Seriously, you NEED to keep reacting to Angelina Jordan.
She is a genius and the best female vocalist alive. Prove me wrong. Thanks guys 👍🏻
How to transform a very good song to a masterpiece. Every detail is perfection. Angelina Jordan is the best artist of our time.
Slowly but surely, more and more people are knowing this fact.
Lucky we are to have Angelina Jordan, being part of our life.
Republic Records say she is one of the few artists who can record in one take. And that's just one of many, many more markers for her genius.
Try "I put a spell on you" when she barely turned age nine. It will forever knock your socks off !
Yes. This
Yes, Yes, Yes, This
You guys have just stumbled on another force of nature, like Lara and Dimash.
Hey, brothers: you gotta start chronologically w her. Truly. Take it one step at a time. ❤
Love this girl for the last ten years 💜💕💜🎶🎵🎤🇳🇴Norways secret weapon but so loved by her angels 🥰
I was there with other die hard fans from all over the world.
New suscriber here.
Check out "Angelina Jordan, 10 Years on the Making" to get a quick snapshot into her journey to her Las Vegas show!
Welcome to the world of Angelina. ❤
We love Angelina. She is the best voice in this generation.
Watch “10 years in the making “ documents Angelina’s story. She started at one and a half. Excellent by seven years old incredible!
Oh my goodness I'm so excited about you discovering Angelina Jordan!! I discovered her during the pandemic and I am hooked on her!
That was a great reaction and commentary! Thank you.
I am dissapointed at her choice of very suggestive reels, no singing just acting like all the other tacky women.
Generational talent.
Unchained melody ….Nobel Peace Prize Concert…..
Most people don’t realize that Pandora had a sister. You just opened up the sister’s box of musical wonders! From age 18 Months old to now 18 Years old Angelina is a one in a billion musical phenom!
Yes, I hit subscribe for more Angelina Jordan.
Well, that’s the barefoot princess, absolutely an angel sent from heaven. One of the best singers on the planet.
Angelina is The Killer! 😎🇺🇲👍💯🌟
Angelina do have a huge amount of hair from when she was very young. Her voice is amazing.
The girl of a thousand voices is one of the things that she is called. You have 999 to go...
Subscribed for Angelina!
You have just discovered the greatest singer. Period.
Love it, your comment "The depth of maturity in her delivery at 16 is insane" My granddaughter from the kitchen "Then you don't want to hear her at 6 you will lose your mind". LMAO She is referring to the song she loves most "I who have nothing" covered by Angelina at just 6 years old.
well, about time… you‘ll love her! I promise !! and there is so much to discover.
Enjoy.
Guys. Be careful. You are now in dangerous emotional territory
Type in her name at 6 years old. Singing. See what comes up. Maybe even 5-4-3-2. Any year. Or ask for a concert in her name at 8…9…10.. etc
@@Joseph-i1t - 6 years = Yup ! ' I Who Have Nothing ' in the small studio behind her Elementary School . . . . . Ouch ! take care, rh
Angelina reinvents every cover and makes you forget the original.
Angelina is a genius in the true sense of the word. Keep watching her. Thank you two!
She is a hundred times better than you can imagine
😊❤ yes Angelina jordan omg loved
What she did at 10 is absolutely incredible.
oooh... a new voice for me... cool and relaxing
Welcome to the Angelina Jordan´s World...¡¡¡¡
A barefoot princess with a hypnotic voice.
You must see her when she was younger. "I put a spell on you" in both versions studio and live is a must.
Looking forward to our your AJ journey
Angelina has over 150 covers & originals that are all great - she has signed with Republic Records 🌀
Great reaction!! Thanks guys!!!
Enjoy the ride
Please start from the beginning with her!! She one Norways Got talent at 7!!!
Her own song A Million Miles Apart is a must-listen
Angelina is completely self taught and has been singing since she was 1 and a 1/2 years old! Angelina is from Norway and speaks Norwegian. She speaks several languages and English is her third language. Angelina plays piano, guitar, violin and the flute.
No. She went to music school from a young age and had good teachers. They saw the potential. Doing put a spell at 9 can easily destroy a voice, done with care.
@@elisabetbarth5573 I think she was mostly taught music theory, but the teachers were wise enough to not meddle with her voice.
Merci, vous êtes merveilleux ❤❤
Angelina has been performing in front of audiences and for people like Quincy Jones since she was 7 years old. Her vocal maturity is astounding. Listen more, and happily go down the rabbit hole.
You should listen to Angelina Jordans' version of Bohemian Rhapsody and Yellow Brick Road. She won Norway Got Talent at age 6
Angelina entered Norway's Got Talent at age 7 and won it all at age 8.
She auditioned for Norway's Got Talent when she was still 7, but turned 8 during the competition which she won.
WOW
I saw her live in Norway 3 days later and she sounds better live than recorded. You get to hear nuances lost in production. I voted her win in NGT 2014 as i immediately heard that here is a special artist. Enjoy boys and you will be amazed by any songs when you realize how young she did them. Over 200 (good) cover songs, released more than 15 originals(over 100 written). The world need to hear her. Love from Norway!
gracias gracias gracias !!! esperaba mucho que llegaran a Angelina, espero que hagan mucho más de ella ,tienen mucho para disfrutar ❤
Great reaction, our dear Throga! ❤
I love that she slows down the material often.
The live version is killer.! Studio is great but.....wow.
The metamorphosis of AJ
Angelina Jordan's evolution from a child prodigy to a full-grown artist is a testament to her enduring talent and the natural progression of life.
