To be completely accurate: a salt mine is outside of Kraków, but Wieliczka is really close to the city, so it's easy to get there with a public transport.
Yea we probably could. But it was just easier and fairly cheap to use an Uber. :)

The salt mine tour was very interesting. The food 😋. I'm going out for a steak dinner tonight at a new restaurant at our Wrest Point Casino called the Longhorn Smokehouse. Can't wait, however, sooo expensive, but we deserve a bit of spoiling ourselves 🤗
For me a nice ribeye is the ultimate 'treat' meal!
@@CharlieandRob yes rib eye yum, however, the the cape grim ribeye came in a 1200 gram and at $17 per 100 gram, yeah nah, I don't need a treat that badly 😳😅. I ended up having a 300gram New York cut Cape grim porterhouse at $61 and it was cooked to perfection 😋.

I am a little bit surprised...no, a lot..Italian & French pastries... Do the Polish not have a signature pastry? I make my own Canoli..well of sorts....my local Italian deli sells the shells & I make my own custard...they are almost as good as my local patisserie 😋 Wow, those mines were amazing! That looks like pesto sauce...
I think the main one we saw were their own special donuts. Dont ask me to spell it :D We had canolis instead of a wedding cake, however the canolis we had were the puff pastry styles which are my fav!

16:29 No double shot in Australia. Best way to get thrown out is to order two singles then tip them in the one glass. So weak these days. I was from the days of the tequila laybacks and the happy hours. The barmaids would walk you to the ATM so you can get more cash for another drink and they used to drink with you. Those days are gone. Sambuca smells just like the brick mortar airating agent "Liquid balls" I came back from the Gold Coast and The smell of the additive was just like the drinks.

15:10 One drink you are done. Whiskey Mack. It is a Canadian drink. Must be like 15 standard drinks in one hit. Canadian club 1 ,2 ,3 nips then top it up with Stones green ginger wine. My Father introduced me to this and after one drink I slept over I was going nowhere. So I said may I have another. ;)
Loved Polishland, been to a upmarket steak restaurant for when a company I worked for went bust, we all got redundancy payouts and our last work doo was at this steak place for dinner, $250+ steak dinners, didn't say anything at the time but it was a bit disappointing, was very nice but not $250 nice. I think the chef may have been rushed. That ribeye looked A maze ing. and with a roasted chili, omg, heaven.
Yea it was great but i still prefer when we make our own ribeye from Costco(They do really good meat!) and we sous vide it then pan fry to finish off.

When you choose polish vodka ensure it's on label 'polish traditional vodka' 'distilled from Polish rye' and 'produced in Poland' becase we now have lots of vodka made from watered down spirit (spirytus) brought from abraod 🤮
