I put this whole entire bike together. I have photos and videos of this bike and all I did to it. Chris is a great guy! I took super care of the bike and replaced all the fasteners and 90% of mounting hardware with new OEM ones. Happy to know it is in good hands.
I just picked up a 2005 ZX12R and a 2000 Busa (w/ 6,500 miles). Installing a 1397 kit in the Busa and restoring the ZX12R just like the Green one Chris bought from me. About to post a '05 Kawasaki Vulcan 2000 limited edition (500 made, 2053cc engine,125ci) with 2,500 original miles. Chris got himself a good bike. I hope he gets something that is comfortable for him to ride. You should get that zx12r. If you do and have any questions about the build, let me know.
@@posniknelb6114 When I sold the bike to Chris, it had fresh spark plugs and all services were done. The only thing I told him was to change the oil. He didn’t change the oil by the time this video was made. I know for sure the bike would’ve made more power on a fresh oil change. Nothing else was needed on the bike.
What a beauty! 💚 I have an A2 ZX12R with 4800 miles, full Ti Akrapovic and PC IV.. It has a dyno graph in the paperwork for 178bhp. Way faster than I ever need..but it’s cool it’s there 😄 I have a few 90s/00s bikes, they’re all awesome old school beasts!
I have a 2000, from first gear on... hold on and enjoy the ride! When you're in 6th gear past 180mph, it seems like you have so much more throttle and power to go!
I had mine with full system akrapovic, turbo & nitrous installed with modded ecu.I dont frequenly use the bike unless theres an event.Had been nearly 10 yrs with no issue.Petrol consumption was scary but this bike really can run.Beating Busa its like racing with 150cc bike.
intake wants to add a few more horses above 120 mph. that's what the scope is for in the front. so this is just suction horse not with air being pushed into the engine
@@TRocksGarage777 you gotta do it, animal bike, twitchy af in the wet round town but nothing else quite like them. Set the suspension up properly and they are so much fun.
Inflated dyno numbers….dynojet should be called dyno wrong. 4 th gear only pulls, a mobile dyno and an exhaust that really doesn’t make any power. So wrong.

Great job on putting this bike together looks amazing. The dyno test was awesome.

They're 178 bhp, 190bhp with ram air stock at the crank. Over 160 back wheel

@@posniknelb6114 yep.. ram air's worth 12hp at the top end
I bought the 1st ZX12R in AZ in 2000, from Valley Kawasaki. With a slip-on it pulled 174 BHP regularly in 2000.
Best looking front end of any bike out there! Wish they would have carried this look into the 14!
Aw man I forgot about Muzzy! That was the only exhaust to run on a Kawi back in the day. Had one on all 3 of mine

NICE! I wish I could get one of these bikes, they are sweet rides. What kind of MPG did you get with yours?
I need a 12r in the garage !!! I rode a 1257cc 12r years ago with the supporting mods and I feel in love then..might be the next one to get

@@tomolsson7313 I totally agree. Getting that ramair effect can really boost horsepower figures.
And didn't position fans to the air intake for the ram air
Nice and unique bike
Yes, you just don't see these bikes much anymore.
Love mine
+ Ram Air adds over 10hp on top 😁
Gotta love ram air
I have a 2003 but i need some work.. i got it the way it is and love riding her . Im going to get her right this summer i have all my parts
That's awesome, love seeing older bikes on the road. Keep'em alive!
@@TRocksGarage777thanks
You must know about additional power is from You dynamics air ram - here was not used.. that will bring You another 5% to the power and torque
This is true.
I have a 2020 z1000r Edition, and i am very close to selling it for the black and gold version of this Great looking machine! It really is a Beast!
Btw thats not a full system. Just a muzzy bolt on 👌
One thing i do know is get rid of that stock clutch basket .. mine blewup on the eway i have a upgraded one now
My 2002 ZX12R is pretty highly tuned and gives 167bhp and 92lbs torque. So yours is in an excellent state.
Hi, coule you tell me where have you buy thé l'éther tank pad ? Regards ✌️
It is not my bike so I have no clue where the owner got the tank protector from. Sorry.
I got a 2001, I’ll never sell it
I want one so bad.

I knew he was guessing low. I guessed 165. To think 1000cc today make 195 or so.
what do you mean today ,thats a today machine
