NISSAN FRONTIER WAM WINCH INSTALL

- Installing the WAM Winch plate to my 2006 Nissan Frontier. Went with 95’ synthetic line, alum fair lead and IPSCO Winch Shackle. This Shackle is only $75 and made billet Alum here is the United States from a local company.
I was there the day that bumper came off and heard the idea come to fruition. Top of the mountain bro hehe. Looks great.

Those socks tho! Winch looks great. Sits in there nicely. I kicked my control to the side for looks, yours appeared that it was the only way it'd fit. I'm glad i am not the only one that works in slippers!

Awesome man. It’s an excellent carrier. Saves weight over the full bumper and very cost effective. The extra money for synthetic line is worth it.
Just had a conversation with WAM!! bumper on Monday of this week. I think that's the winch bumper I plan to get as well. Thanks for the video.
Awesome man. When I called them they have great customer service, awesome product. You’ll love it as it weighs so much less then full steal plate bumper with winch.

Installed my WAM winch carrier during COVID and it's awesome but did you notice the wheel alignment change because of the extra 75-100lbs in the center? Had to get re-aligned but not sure that is what caused it. Your rig is sick bro

Dope video like usual. But you never talked about the shackle. 75$ is cheap for a nice billet setup.
Kept forgetting to mention it. But yeah, it’s an American company makes them for only $75. Real bargain for quality product. Some of these shackles are $250 for the same thing.

With the Titan swap in the front how did achieve the same width in the back did you use spacers or a wider axle
I did Wheel spacers for the rear.

Where did the Steel Bumper come from?
It’s a stock OEM bumper. Came with the truck. I just trimmed it up and plasti dipped it.
Is that with the same lift 3 and 2.5 with the 33” tires?
No. It’s now a full Titan swap with 6” lift and 35” tires.

Karina_Cruz it’s just swapping out the front on the frontier for Nissan Titan front end - lower control arm, upper control arm, tie rods, suspension. Etc. Your suspension travel goes from 8” of travel to now 12” of travel. And it allows you to run 35” tires. It’s a fairly easy mod to do. I have a video of it.
