You guys are awesome! Great video as always, and I love all the info you guys include in the videos both about the parts and extra info specifically pertaining to the Frontier.
Stepping up the video quality! Appreciate the small tips along the way. Will be re-visiting this for my install soon. Thanks Chad & ADO Team!
Very easy to watch and understand. I love how ADO gets thing done! Some of the best guys we've worked with, hand down.
I learn so much from you guys! Thanks for all the frontier goodies!
Great video. Ordered my RCKilla lift kit with 1/2' spacers today.
Just got my ADO bilstein 5100 kit with broverland leafs in the mail today. Can't wait to get it put on this weekend, I did a lot of research and everything lead me to All Dogs Off-road. Amazing support, lots of content on TH-cam and lots of positive reviews. Keep up the amazing work!
Thanks for this awesome video; very informative. I own a 2005 Nissan Frontier that still do not reached the 200.000 milles, and I realy love it. I'm planning to upgrade it soon, and I'm glad I found your channel. I'm already suncribed to it. Great job! 👍
This is great! I'll be purchasing this real soon.
Been runnng my ado lift for two years with no issues. Love it!
I did leave my overloads on as I pull my camper with it. With the heavy coils up front I only see a 1/2” difference and the ride is about the same.
Did you cut that center bolt on the overload leaf? I want to do the same but I'm unsure of how to do it. Thanks.
Great job. Wish I lived near you. I’m in ala. I got 2017 4x4. Thanks for sharing. 👍
I really enjoyed my rc Killa even with the stock 4600s.
Excellent video. Just order the kit for my 2017 Frontier from Alldogs off-road coop.
Awesome is all I can say!
I wish this video was out when I installed mine. I ended up completely removing the leaf springs to add the AAL, and now I see that I 100% did not need to. =) Oh well.
Is there any downside to sticking with the stock shocks, vs the version that comes with the Bilsteins shocks? I'm not doing any hardcore off-roading with my truck, I just really like the look of this kit, and I think we all agree its okay for stuff to look cool.
Fantastic video for install as well.
Question for you guys. Just got a 2019 Nissan Frontier Pro4X. Can you just get the front springs and cam bolts to level the truck out and not the rear add a leaf spring. Looking to level the truck out. I do not want the rake. Thanks.
Great install video. Production quality is way up.
If I'm understanding right. Are 2003 Frontier SE suppose to have coil springs. Strange too. No matter what shocks I put on the front. Practically touch the control arms and don't do well. I've been suspicious that I've had the wrong front end on this truck.
Have y'all checked to see if the 3rd Gen hydraulic body mounts will fit on the 2nd Gen Frontiers
You guys are kinda awesome. I hope to spend a lot of money on your products. Cheers.
What shocks do you recommend for the RCKilla kit? Are UCAs required?
Great to know Nissan doesn't offer adjustable camber bolts out the factory. I was racking my brain trying to figure it out
Will this kit fit the 2022 or 2023 Frontier PRO4-X. I always enjoy your videos and learn how I can improve my Nissan Trucks. Thank you.
A buddy and I put it on my 2022 pro4x a week ago and it works great! FYI if doing yourself I would just take the shocks to local shop to put the new springs on as that was the hardest step for us unless you have a super professional spring compressor like the one in the video. Be aware the pro4x stock springs are already slightly stiffer than non-pro4x so after installing this kit the front is 1.5 inches lower than the rear. I plan on adding the 1/2" spacers in the front to level this out a little.
I just purchased your RCKilla for my 3rd gen. What's the pros/cons of leaving the overload leafs in the rear?
Does it affect towing at all?
I watched you video about spacer lift bucket contact, and I cant help but wonder how this is better. Seems like any lift push the lower control arm, steering knuckle and upper control arm down and would create bucket contact. Can you please explain to me what I am missing?
The overall length of the coilover assembly determines whether you create the clearance issue or not. Adding a spacer adds to the length. A lift coil does not.
Honestly I’m having a hard time understanding that as well. Id like to see a picture comparison or something.
@@ethanoltean a shock can only be a set length. if the shock length does not cause CBC, you can add any spring and clear. our spring just raises it's resting point instead of causing overall length to become greater. we have a video showing how a spacer causes CBC while our springs do not
@@soreal0379 they're not necessary unless you plan on adding a small spacer in the future
Can I bring my 2006 Frontier to you guys for a lift?
What is the torque spec for the leaf spring mounting bolts? I'm removing the whole thing for easier access. Thanks
Great content guys, quick question though. Does the position of the add a leaf really matter?
yes. the american flag goes forward if you were to buy an AAL from us.
@@AlldogsOffroadCoop only reason I ask was because I did order one from you guys but didn’t know the correct way of putting it during the install. Everything fit perfect but I don’t recall if I did flags forward. I assume it wouldn’t align if I did put it the other way.
Will this kit fot the suzuki equator? If so would it raise the front 2" on the sport 4x4 4L model? Thanks
Would this help with heavy duty applications? Example I have a topper, camping gear and a dirt bike on a carrier
Depending on weight, you might want to upgrade the leaf to either the Broverland or the Parabolic.
Do you guys have a 6" lift for the Pro 4x? Specifically a 2018? I'm planning to run 35's & need the clearance.
What size tires are on that Frontier? And is the back end only lifted with the add a leaf?
I have a 2019 Frontier SV 4x4 I’m wanting to get about 4 inches of lift on it. Wondering what your recommendation would be to achieve this. Thanks in advance
Factory suspension geometry is good for 3” so either extended travel suspension and a body lift or a Titan swap
Was any additional ground clearance gained? If so how much? Pro4x has 9.5 I would love to get over 11 in
true ground clearance is only achieved with bigger tires. lift kits allow for better fitment of said larger tires.
Installed this lift kit for my 2019 Frontier and now experiencing a pretty significant knock when going over speed bumps. Any ideas what's causing this and how to fix? Thanks in advance!
Have you found anything out about this? I'm having the same issue after my RCKilla install.
@@boydjones748 No, unfortunately not. Tried calling their offices but no one answers.
Is it the upper control arm hitting the top of the bucket? I assume you guys didn't replace the UCA's right?
@@-Dwight-Schrute No, there's ample clearance, it's something else, and yes the UCA's are OEM. But the issue was resolved when the front struts were replaced - took the D40-F-M Coil Springs out, installed a lift spindle (knuckle), and got a 6" lift. Left the add-a-leaf in the back and installed 3.5 inch lift blocks. Also replaced all shocks with Bilstein's. :)
Where can I order the complete RCKilla Lift Kit for my Nissan Frontier Pro 4X 2018 to be shipped in Saskatchewan, Canada? I like the clearness and detail of the video. tnx ADO
@@diosdadomarundan I'd probably check out their website...but that's just me
I have the Exact same truck. The rear end on yours needs to be lowered an inch or the front lifted another inch to look right. Good video though.
The rear end is exactly where it needs to be on this truck. A level truck is not a useful truck. Rake is necessary if you plan on using it as a truck.
is this a stiffer setup than a titan swap?
a titan swap is a completely different ball game than the rckilla. can't really compare them
I was hoping the rake would be gone
rake is a functional piece of your suspension, none of our kits level a truck
Dude, pls buy yourself a set of impact sockets. Chrome can shatter off the socket with impact loads and splinter in your hand. They are also not as hardened as the black impact sockets. Safety for your sake. Great vid though.
your shop is dark as heck. need to add some windows and better lighting .
How many inches is this lift?
They can vary from 1.5 - 2" of lift depending on your trim level. 2 inches on this one.
I love all the attention you guys give to the Frontier - I admittedly did a spacer lift on mine, but have been pinching my pennies to get your kit with the Bilsteins - please keep the Frontier videos coming!
