When they escaped Nobunaga from the PT hideout, they even established that Killua's role in their friendship is to stop Gon from doing stupid shit. He's always been the one of the two who could actually think while under pressure & not act solely off of emotion, so I highly doubt he would've been dumb enough to ignore Kite's request that they should leave without hesitation if he ever commands them to.

I laughed when Rob said Kite's body is in the water when Pitou was holding his head. If the Chairman thinks he cannot defeat pitou what makes you think Kite is gonna be alive for whatever reason.
He is not spoiling anything everyr eactor that saw that moment knew it was just his head it's pretty clear and chaiman said himself he will prefer to avoid a fight with her in those episodes .

If Rob can quit his *own* bitching about Killua ~being a bitch~, there's actually an interesting thing to note in Killua and Gon's conversation about preparing for fights. Everyone says Killua is acting because of [SPOILERS], but, like... I think he would *still* be this way regardless, to some extent. And you know why?
Because his whole thing on talking about how you should know as much possible about your opponent and have at least a 50/50 chance... is *the exact mindset of an assassin*.
Knowing your target's powers, abilities, skills, habits, schedules, connections... That's all valuable shit to an assassin, because they're not in this for a fucking fight. Assassins are in it to kill a person as quickly as possible. (*Can* the assassins we've seen still fight regardless? Oh, yeah, absolutely. A solid half of the Zoldyks are unbelievable fighters. But that's not the *point* of an assassination.)
So, in this scene, even after Killua has told himself repeatedly that he's not going to be a cold-hearted assassin anymore, we can still see the ways in which his past and upbringing has affected him.
In contrast, Gon's own viewpoint, while fitting in with his kind of simple-blunt wisdom, also shows his own upbringing as this wild child who'd run around in the mountains with wild animals and knows that sometimes Shit Just Happens.
Anyway, neither of them are wrong, and it's a neat insight into their characters.
