Fun fact: Kite was supposed to appear at the very beginning of the series, but this 2011 anime changed things around so that he only met kite at this point in the story. Gon would have had his dad‘s hunter card since the very start. The changes made it far more obvious that Kite was going to die and it took away the feeling of meeting an old friend 😅
Want to make everything clear for them, Physically, by comparing size between human and ant, if we are in the same side, ant would be A LOT stronger. So what you can see is Pitou has Nen but still hasn't figure it out how to express its Hatsu. Can you all remember Netero's word about if we sent a weaker hunters, the stronger of the ants will get. When Pokkle is died, before he died Pitou figure Nen System out by using his brain, after that is Kite who was the same skill level of one Phantom Troupe member fought Pitou and died, at this stage Pitou just saw from Kite that to manifest Hatsu is to make each own abilities, so Pitou will be stronger after this. So, yeah if Gon fight he will be dead instantly at this point, Killua maybe act like he is cowards, took all blame by himself, but the result is Gon and him still be alive. That's why I love Killua, Will Power took a crucial part in Shounen Manga/Anime, but it's definitely NOT A MAIN PART for HxH.
This is the beginning of the portion of this anime that took it from great to ABSOLUTELY LEGENDARY (imo). enjoy because it'll be a while til you see anything comparable. PS. that soundtrack tho...
Suraj is right in Nen fights power levels don't matter as much and the nen ability itself and how you use it more than not determines the victor , but when the discrepancy is so big it kinda trumps everything else and you should just run

The "camera" work, the voice acting, the sound design and visuals of Gon's raw reaction when he realize what just happened to Kite's arm, is some of the best shit i've ever seen in anything ever, its a small scene that i feel doesn't get enough recognition
@@mygodwhatdidyoudo they don't. Its not a case for just this anime but almost every media they watch. And they aren't used to this behaviour because of that as well. They think they can turn their brains off and not need to notice anything of substance like they do in DBZ.
7:27 "Gon could have done something though" Oh yeah you are absolutely right. He could have died and get all 3 of them killed. At this point in time he is literally just a screamy boi.
A lot of people have this reaction when they see Gon going crazy, thinking that he might get a DBZ like powerup. That just doesn't happen in HxH. Strong feelings can have an effect on nen but it can't possibly close a gap that huge. Gon would have died instantly, even with his amped up nen.
it was the only time we saw Kite didn’t say “bad roll”. Clown said there are no bad rolls. Regardless safe to say it Must’ve been the one Kite been wanting to use. Kite’s nen ability gives Kite the BEST weapon for the given situation. Notice the head is always ALWAYS at the opposite side of the weapon, the end piece. Meaning the weapon was the gold tip. If anything it’s a wand since author’s wife is the creator of sailor moon 🌙 And it looks like THREE leaf clover ☘️ It could’ve indeed be the most powerful slot, lucky number 3.
I have no idea how Suraj could think Gon could take Pitou and deal damage. Sure, Nen is flexible and you can surprise foes who don't know your powers or you can have a restriction and vow to come up with something smart. But at this point in time, Pitou's raw power totally overshadows Gon's Nen abilities. You could even have Kurapika with his Emperor Time and even he could be overwhelmed by the sheer malice from Pitou's aura and her crazy strength that goes beyond anything he's even encountered.
She leapt kilometers in one go! She moves at the speed of sound (I say she but officially "it" since she is a royal guard) Kite had experience so he could simply move out of her trajectory however Pitou exterior shell is hard as hell!

I hate how long I made this... Oh well... SO here's the deal with Neferpitou's gender ambiguity (AKA "Pitou," for short). For the TL;DR short, honest answer, Pitou's gender is unknown (really). In the manga, Pitou was confirmed to be male (sort of). Straight from the wiki: [The only official statement regarding Neferpitou's gender appears in the databook. It refers to Neferpitou using the pronoun "彼” (kare),* which is usually translated to “he”], but without explaining the outrageous intricacies of accurately using specific pronouns and titles in Japan, I can confidently tell you this pretty loose as far as evidence goes. Likely because of this manga confirmation, the 2011 anime (what the Normies are watching), is being as faithful to the original source material as possible since the first anime adaptation in 1999 deviated off the rails. The current anime adaptation keeps the same gender-specific dialog for characters that are talking about Neferpitou, even though It/they have fairly blatant feminine features, which it wholly lacked in the manga (no pronounced curves or bust of any kind). Officially, Neferpitou's gender is literally "unknown" as the author has never answered any inquiries about this topic. Ultimately, when you remember that a chimera ant is; a hot pot of whatever the Queen eats and passes on to her children; you could argue that all chimera ants are part male/female to their own degrees. So to sum it up, Neferpitou's usually treated as non-binary, not specifically identifying itself/them-self as either gender. And maybe that was the author's intention. Hope this was useful to you guys and feel free to make any corrections that you can confirm to be real. Please no hear-say... I'm astonished by how many people spread misinformation about this. Please share some thoughts as this took a while to start sounding coherent to me, and I want to know anyone found this illuminating.
Almost correct, except that a databook doesn't count as a manga confirmation and the anime never had any dialouge with a "he" to describe Pitou in the original exactly like the actual manga also not(only the anyways pretty questionable Viz translation and specifically the english dub did that, not even all other dubs replicated that clear mistake).
"He's there somewhere!" Well yeah.. part of him is there, part is over there, some is in the freezer, his head in Nef's lap, he's all over the place really
Remember Gon's face right now. This arc will show you the true power Nen has. Can't give you any more right now w/o spoilers but just remember this face.
11:30 that was directed at you guys too. Unique hatsus play the biggest role in who wins a fight between nen users. And no, Gon couldn't have done shit against Pitou. Heck, Gon might have hurt himself even if Pitou took a hit without moving.
Where did they suddenly get the idea that Pitou is a guy? There wasn't a single specific pronoun used in this episode yet that guy in the middle suddenly latched onto the idea that Pitou's a guy. If I remember correctly in the manga Pitou has no specific gender but in the anime they made them more female like.
In anime a lot of times the girls aren’t girls they look like them but are boys . And watching this series in English the villains they called that character a he and kept saying “sir”
Killua is making that statement because he knows that Pitou is vastly stronger than any of them in terms of just raw power, and obviously because he doesn't know Netero's Hatsu.
Killua honestly just made the exact same estimation like Colt and even Netero himself, he couldn't have possibly known how much stronger Netero could become and how ridiculously broken his abilities are.
Gon and Killua are like super geniuses in terms of Nen Talent but at the end of the day they ARE still children. I've never really thought about it until now, but Pitou is looking pretty scratched up and her line regarding her strength leads me to believe that Kite in his one armed state pushed her pretty far. Not enough for Pitou to be in "real" danger of dying, but enough that she possibly needed to use most if not all of her strength to kill him. Which means Kite was infact incredibly strong compared to most characters. So to put it simply, Gon and Killua would have just been utterly demolished, bugs on a windshield.
U dont get the strength levels and nen abilities i guess. You thinking gon couldve done something. Gon and Killua are literally newbies at this nen stuff.. they couldnt touch neither Neferpitou, nor Kite, or the 3 dude hunters. Just like Hisoka in real fight. They are children. They need waaay more experience and practice. It keeps getting crazier ;)
Ok Normies you guys need to understand that Pitou could kill Kite, Killua and Gon no problem. At Gon current level he wouldn't be able to do anything. Pitou is part of the Ant Royal guard who is directly loyal to the King chimera ant. You will understand how strong they are as the anime progresses. I can't wait for you guys to see just how great things are gonna get now that netero is here.

Gon would have had his dad‘s hunter card since the very start. The changes made it far more obvious that Kite was going to die and it took away the feeling of meeting an old friend 😅
Those shirts should say “where the hunter X hunter reactions at?” Because we/I need more than 1 episode a week.
fkn agreed
Thanks for video! Taking that risk was for us and it's much appreciated.
Morell is talking and they be like "i bet killua could kill this guy" im like yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah i dont know ABOUT THAT
This was something else. I didn’t expect him to go so soon. Good god Pitou is powerful. That last scene shocked me so much.
Want to make everything clear for them,
Physically, by comparing size between human and ant, if we are in the same side, ant would be A LOT stronger.
This is where gon starts to change
Killua was in the right
There was nothing they could have done to Pitou when they practically one shot kite
Killua is a fucking bitch always running away. Gon told Killua's bitch ass on the airship he wouldn't runaway
Kite wasn't one shotted. His fight with Pitou lasted quite a while.
@@BadAssMacmillan Yeah, I didn't notice the first time but the place they fought in is all destroyed and pitou got even scratches.
@@aura7117 who are you? you dumb as fuck
This is the beginning of the portion of this anime that took it from great to ABSOLUTELY LEGENDARY (imo). enjoy because it'll be a while til you see anything comparable. PS. that soundtrack tho...
"Gon had so much rage right there. I think Gon could have done something though."
Suraj's denial! i'm dead lol!
"This is so not a kids show...."
☝️🤔 Your right
It sickens me everytime they say that with every goddamm anime
the moment hunter x hunter went from being a top 100 anime to a top 10 anime for me was from the episode after this one 85 froward everything changed
Suraj is right in Nen fights power levels don't matter as much and the nen ability itself and how you use it more than not determines the victor , but when the discrepancy is so big it kinda trumps everything else and you should just run
Yeah, they were confused about the KITE situation for a good couple episodes after this
What a shocker
Every time I watch kite's hand cut down my heart just fall down every time 💔💔
Why does everyone who watches this episode think that gon could’ve done something just because he got angry? 🙂
Pitue would’ve fucked all of them up whether he got mad or not he can’t do shit
16:15 Suraj pulling a Gon and jumping headfirst into denial
Suraj fucking called it with Kite's three
Killua did the right thing there. It´s also interesting that Gon was already so lost there over an severed arm and that at the same time trusts Killua so much that he didn´t expected to be attacked from Killuas side (even with his hightened fighting mind right now)
When I watched Killua carrying unconscious Gon for a day I was like, "find a hospital man"
Ok... This was the most blank reaction to episode 85...
Sometimes I feel commentators of this type aren't able to be immersed in very specific moments like this and just have to find a way to make jokes.
My feelings exactly & it happens a lot with them
@@BiggestWolf1 They make a joke out of everything. Which is often quite annoying because they aren't even good jokes. I watch Heatah22 Reacts and they make jokes too, but they know when to make them and they're often funnier than the odd observations the Normies have.
@@melindamay74646 well dont watch then
@Chair of Truth true
@@mysticmac1839 no I'll keep watching
Elegant style, sparkling body fluids, cutesy wand and a talking mascot...
yup Kite is a magical Boi!
I'm sorry I don't know the guy on the far right's name but watch him I love this:
16:05 - Denial
16:32 - anger (it's in the eyes)
16:38 - bargaining begins
17:18 - depression
18:02 - finally acceptance
That's why I love this show and I love these reactions! Really entertaining ya'll!
The "camera" work, the voice acting, the sound design and visuals of Gon's raw reaction when he realize what just happened to Kite's arm, is some of the best shit i've ever seen in anything ever, its a small scene that i feel doesn't get enough recognition
Gon would not be able to do something trust me, gon and killua do not make one kite not now anyways
Shit gets real
Killua literally said they were weaker than one armed Kite. They just don’t pay attention to anything
@@TheFiddler69 they do
but they arey used to realistic behaviour from mc characters
@@mygodwhatdidyoudo they don't. Its not a case for just this anime but almost every media they watch. And they aren't used to this behaviour because of that as well. They think they can turn their brains off and not need to notice anything of substance like they do in DBZ.
In the manga kite was introduced first chapter and gave gings licence then!!!
Anime 101- Old man- especially humble in nature-Walks cool---> OP😊😂
“I feel like Gon was gonna do some damage, honestly”
...
“I think Gon could have done something tho”
Yea he would have gave Pitou a light warm up then get killed off
7:27 "Gon could have done something though" Oh yeah you are absolutely right. He could have died and get all 3 of them killed. At this point in time he is literally just a screamy boi.
I died when you said kites hair was cool lol the look on your face when you realized it as kite
A lot of people have this reaction when they see Gon going crazy, thinking that he might get a DBZ like powerup. That just doesn't happen in HxH. Strong feelings can have an effect on nen but it can't possibly close a gap that huge. Gon would have died instantly, even with his amped up nen.
finally here we are
it was the only time we saw Kite didn’t say “bad roll”. If anything it’s a wand since author’s wife is the creator of sailor moon 🌙
And it looks like THREE leaf clover ☘️
It could’ve indeed be the most powerful slot, lucky number 3.
1. Kite is dead as nails.
2. Gon would have died in seconds if killua wouldn't have knocked him out.
Lol when he said gon could have done something I was like.......Nah fam😂
lmao she said there is no shadow clone jutsu in this ..... priceless
I read somewhere that the slot number kite got is something that would only appear when Kite doesn't want to die.
You could even have Kurapika with his Emperor Time and even he could be overwhelmed by the sheer malice from Pitou's aura and her crazy strength that goes beyond anything he's even encountered.
when you notice a death flag being raised.
She leapt kilometers in one go! She moves at the speed of sound (I say she but officially "it" since she is a royal guard)
Kite had experience so he could simply move out of her trajectory however Pitou exterior shell is hard as hell!
The genius of Togashi, he gave you hope that Kite is alive, with gon speech...and then Boom, kite's head on pitou's lap
7:27 nah you underestimate pitou at this point
wow just dropped in and was surprised they're only on 85 with hxh on youtube drops. on premium patreon they're already on episode 101 lol! great episode and reaction
"Gon, you're light" ... REMEMBER THIS LINE.
Guy on the right was actually right about the 3 being a 'death avoidance technique'
"You're lit bro"
Edit: "he's waiting for us... in heaven!" Omg Rana 😂
I'm psyched for your next reactions!
Ok, pretty good reaction guys, now I am excited for more Chimera ant arc.
Might be a subtitle based on the in general terrible Viz translation.
16:02
In anime a lot of times the girls aren’t girls they look like them but are boys . And watching this series in English the villains they called that character a he and kept saying “sir”
There was idiot
@@condor6327 I never saw that tho
Killua: "you 3 are strong but I cant see you defeating that thing"
Me *as netero* : get aside stray cat....
Killua is making that statement because he knows that Pitou is vastly stronger than any of them in terms of just raw power, and obviously because he doesn't know Netero's Hatsu.
Killua da same dude who said he woulda killed netero at the hunter exam lmao
@@BlackBurrito9073 not to mention he is weaker at this point. Once he pulls out the shirt and he trains again thats when its more comparable.
Keep in mind that Pitoud hadn't developed her Hatsu at this point
Here we go!
"He's waiting for us! In heaven" killed me!
Only 45 more episodes until they see it people!
“Maybe-“
“No dude he’s dead”
Big Rip for my homie
"there is no shadowclone justsu in this"
except for Kastro D:, but it didn't end well for him too
Killua never referred to Pitou in the masculine. Not sure where you got that from.
